Just watched the Amanda Knox Netflix documentary and all I kept thinking was how this was just a lite version of Making A Murderer, fecking hell.
I could've told you the conclusion shown at the end from the Supreme Court halfway through - the sheer ineptitude and ignorance of the police, investigators and prosecutor are out of this world with regard to questioning, handling (DNA-)evidence and empathy towards different people in particular situations. It's hard to believe a general prosecutor can still have such tunnel vision in these times (ten years ago but still). It's getting harder to keep faith in a correct prosecution and fair trial if you watch shit like this.
The Daily Mail journalist was being a fecking asshole throughout as well but his last part really capped it off - "It's not as if I could say 'Hey, hold on a minute, I just want to double check that myself', could I?" What the feck man?! Probably the first thing they teach you in journalism, I'd hope.
