City have away wins against United, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal this season, and not just beat them, they looked on a completely different level in all of those games, which is fairly impressive you have to say.

I don't think you have to say it. :p

Verthongen was the best Spurs player tonight. He could fit in at any top team. Winner why nobody has made any enquiries for him yet.
And he is still just their second best CB. Alderweireld is their best, and the best in the PL.

I don't thing they would have won Us, if Romelu didn't have a brainfart in our penalty box.

Tbh, I didn't think they were impressive in the win at OT. We gave them 2 goals and didn't play well at all, though. They were there for the taking.

They didn't look on a different level when they played us. Lukaku's poor defending and finishing cost us the game.

The best thing about Spurs is not their strike force, but the midfield with Eriksen and Dembele being some of the Prem‘s finest players. The attack is nothing special though with one great player (Kane) and one good player (Son). Alli‘s technical level is shocking, Lucas and Lamela have poor decision making and Sissoko is just a car crash.

I used to admire Spur‘s backline, but it was all over the place tonight. Lloris was very poor and Sanchez was literally second best in every duel against uninspiring players like Jesus and Sterling (not that they are not good, but they are nothing special for sides aiming at the highest points total or the title of best prem side ever. Compare them to Ronaldo, Rooney, Drogba etc and they fall way short).

City did not look on a different level at OT. Both of their goals were from set pieces, while ours was from open play. We also created the best chance of the game where we had two massive shots at their goal and didn't score.

Would we have won if the referee didn't have a brain fart? It's a game of fine margins and mistakes happen that allow one team triumph in the end

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
To be fair to this oil-funded writer - I have found watching Citeh's last 3 games - Liverpool, Utd, Liverpool - a real joy too!

Spurs are a pathetic, nothing team so didn't need to watch the game to know the outcome.

But Citeh's last 3 games were a joy to behold (as long as Liverpool feck up winning the CL).

I was out so i missed the game, but was it a case of City being too good or Spurs bottling it? I really thought Spurs would beat them tonight. Wankers.

Spurs are such bottlers. They were almost as pathetic as when they lost 4-1. Hopefully our defence doesnt have a brainfart for 30 minutes like when we played them at Wembley. We might actually beat them.

This loss has to be on Pochettino surely?

Long balls to the fullback/winger, a defensive line near the centre circle and leaving Sanchez 1v1 against Sterling.

Surely no one will talk about the ref and City's pen today right ? At this time after the Derby almost all the media were talking about Young tackle.

City were fantastic in fairness to them, battered Spurs.

Would have been great to have seen another defeat for them this week but looked sharp and strong all over the park. Obviously bang up for it.

Bad decision for the pen without a doubt but City deserved the win, miles the better side.
