Spurs are such bottlers. They were almost as pathetic as when they lost 4-1. Hopefully our defence doesnt have a brainfart for 30 minutes like when we played them at Wembley. We might actually beat them.
After watching tonight it's important we play through balls in behind their defence and long balls to catch their high line out. Try to isolate Sanchez because he's the weak link in the defence. The first goal by Jesus he was in no man's land. Sterling could've had 2/3 as well. Just by getting in behind. Dybala scored a 1 on 1 in the CL game. They are very susceptible to balls played in behind. Rashford is a must to play next week.

Yep, Get Lukaku to pin down Vertonghen. Rashford and Alexis can destroy Sanchez.

Sanchez had a nightmare against Alexis in the north London derby earlier in the season. We can beat them.

Three man midfield against Spurs is a must. Dembele will outrun Matic holding on his own.

How many time have they mentioned "If United loses tomorrow, City are champions"? If I didn't know any better, I would say they wish we lose!
They are talking about it like its a likely event we'll lose. We are the 2nd placed team playing against a team rock bottom with nothing to play for really. On paper it's the easiest possible game in our season so I don't get all this premature talk.

Will they play Son and Alderweireld against us? Or will Poch learn from tonight and rectify his mistakes? Not sure if Toby will make himself available though.

Ah its good to see this place all angry at us for no reason again. Normality restored.

Pep should take note of what he did today. The switch to 352 was excellent and saved the game when it was slipping away. If he had shown a little of that nous vs United the table would look much nicer. He deserves credit for the formation change today. Once he switched we cut Spurs apart. Sterling again a major culprit, one goal in the last 4 and he should have at least 6.

Still good win and at a much needed time. One win to the title and the possibility of hitting the 100pts is now very real if we don't feck with the team.

Also well done Kane on getting a toe on Eriksen's deflection for the goal back.

I don't thing they would have won Us, if Romelu didn't have a brainfart in our penalty box.
Yes and they'll say they wouldn't have conceded any chances if they defended better...

The point is we ended up pinned back in our final third and couldn't get out, in a home game. It was really, really bad and this was at a stage where City weren't even in good form, they were scraping through games and still had enough to completely dominate at old trafford.

Tbh, I didn't think they were impressive in the win at OT. We gave them 2 goals and didn't play well at all, though. They were there for the taking.
They weren't great but still much better than us.

They didn't look on a different level when they played us. Lukaku's poor defending and finishing cost us the game.
And then they'd say their poor defending cost them the game...

City did not look on a different level at OT. Both of their goals were from set pieces, while ours was from open play. We also created the best chance of the game where we had two massive shots at their goal and didn't score.
We couldn't hold the ball for more than 2 seconds.

We were as shit as City were good in that game, no doubt we made it very easy for them to be better than us, but any neutral watching that game would have walked away thinking City were the much better team despite not even playing great.

How is Harry Maguire keeping Smalling out the England team? Probably the most overrated player in the prem at the moment.

Absolutely agree. Bullied by all 3 of Wood, Barnes and Vokes yesterday. One of the main reasons as to why leicester lost.

Holt is clearly on their payroll. Its a huge marketing operation from Abu Dhabi. They obviously have people on their payroll to promote their club.

I just find it funny how poor Holt is at masking it.

11th win a row for Arsenal against Newcastle on the cards here.

Wonder what the Premier League record for consecutive wins is.

Aubameyang is so much better than Lacazette. Iwobi is pretty underwhelming, El Neny is actually a tidy player.
