The teams deserve to be there, the game will be good for neutrals (if there are any neutrals?).

Obviously hope Real smash them.

Liverpool almost fe.ked it up, as they do sometimes. But lets not pretend they'll play like that in the final. Madrid defense is not convincing. But then again its going to be Ronaldo vs Lovren, Karius and co.
Liverpool will be well up for it and lets hope Klopp will again lose it in a final and Madrid will shove how it's done.

I hate Madrid btw but Liverpool winning it. No thanks to say it mildly.

If Liverpool win this one, it'd be 10 times worse than 2005. At least 2005 didnt have Steve McTwataman commentating.

IF you always state the obvious, you're always right.
Well i obviously wanted Pep to win it but i wonder who to support in this final? I really like Klopp's rock'n'roll football style although a bit reckless BUT Zidane has grown massively as an very interesting manager to me as of late.. 3 times in a row would be a monumental achievement..

Not sure how any united fan can say they want Liverpool to win.

Both detestable teams but in a gun to head situation like this I will be rooting for Madrid no doubt. Will go with 4-2 to Madrid.

Carvajal / Ramos / Varane / Casemiro vs. Mane / Firmino / Salah + space.

Let's see how Zizou sets his team up for this CL Final.

I hope Ronaldo smashes them all over the park.

They look really good Liverpool though, I remember not so long ago some United fans were criticising Mourinho and United for 'only' beating them 2-1 and keeping Salah quiet all game. Strange section of fans.

everclear is a cool band. yeah they still exist.
It was not nice knowing you.
It‘s amazing. In Germany there is a rule (and I am sure that German posters will back me up on this)
that you always support your country‘s clubs in the UCL.
Regardless of who you support in general.
Most Dortmund fans I know were rooting for Bayern yesterday.

Interesting, that it is so different in England.

I have to admit, I’m having a hard time picturing Jordan Henderson lifting the European Cup.

Head says Madrid’s experience will make the difference.

The big game experience of Real may be an important factor (I’m hoping it is!). Playing in a CL final can do strange things to players who haven’t been in such a high profile game before. For Real it’s the norm for them now.

Yes I’m desperate here!

It'll be a comfortable and mature win for Real Madrid, disappointing neutral fans who hoped for a thrilling final.
Waaaaay too early to start jinxing this!

There's a strong case for Liverpool not really being part of England. They don't even speak the same language.

Real should have the experience and craft to get it done. Kiev is a big distance to play away and ain't Anfield. Still think Liverpool are one injury from meltdown. With all that said, anything can happen in a final. I remember the 2005 final and know that Liverpool can raise there game. Different teams and all but can't rule out anyone in a one off game. I'm old enough and seen football to not underestimate anybody in a final. The idea of Karius and Lovren lifting that trophy doesn't make sense in my brain. In the Supercup Final we were out passed and outclassed by that Real side, they were resting players too. If Real isolate Salah they will beat them. Both teams to score 3.1 Real. Restore balance to the universe Real, you're my only hope ha ha.

What a clusterfeck of a season this is turning into.

Nightmare scenario pending.
Is it tho? I'd say our season has been pretty good. Not getting close to City sucks but they just had one of those special seasons, and did anyone honestly expect us to win the CL this year? Draw was favorable so it's disappointing in that regard but we can still win a cup (and we better fecking do it) and our season was more successful than Pool if they lose the final except for them collecting some more CL prize money.

Why would you want to do that? Basically you hate them 80% of the time and suddenly root for them the other 20%?

That'd be weird.

That’s a load of rubbish. Why on earth would you want a rival to do well? Club > country

Ha ha ! It is almost unthinkable and unbearable them winning this but I agree that big match atmosphere favours Madrid.

There won't be many neutrals at all, 3 of the best supported clubs in the world (and 1 other) all have clear preference.

Manchester City romping to a title and breaking records and Liverpool winning their 6th European Cup...

That’s a clusterfeck. Our two biggest rivals winning the two biggest prizes.

Our own season aside, it’s a bitter pill to swallow.

Not as bitter as watching them win the double or treble :smirk:
