That was a ridiculous decision by Rashford. Terrible. Such a simple pass to make and he fecks it up without any pressure. It’s criminal.
It was very infuriating. I get the impression that he is desperate to score and is over thinking everything. He needs to calm down and the goals will come - That's coming from a 25-30 goal a season winger ;) (thanks for that tag line mods :p)

After playing the first half display, Mourinho will realized that all the front six except for Matic should be changed (but he can't) during half time and also to be sold in the summer.
Rashford - still poor in decision making. have not progress.
Martial - not so interested and does not put pressure on their back line. Show flashes of dribbling at times but loose the ball easily.
Pogba - only wants to attack and whenever he looses the ball, he doesn't chase back and when there is 50-50 he will try to aviod. Looks like he is not listerning to the coaches and only want to do it his way. SAF has been right to let him go. I think he will do it again if he doesn't listern.
Mata - hopeless as he has been and is the slow-downer. he will run 30 yards with the ball and make a short and save pass. He cannot tackle and is not tough enough. He is the player with the most back passes if there is a statistic on it.
Felliani - only good in the air. Holding out for more money but not displaying the quality that deserved. Save the money and find another tall player with better skill in the air.
Martial should have had a goal and Mata failed to put Martial through too. He is the least worst of the attack.

Need more movement up top. Rashford has been trying. Martial has been stationary and Mata has found the wrong spaces.
Martial has made himself available all through that second half. He is even dropping deep to get the ball, which is a clear sign the midfield are no doing their jobs.

For Martial, even though he contributed little in terms of a gol threat, was the only United player to come out of that half with any credit.

There are people on this site who actually believe we are going in the right direction.
    A mystery.
More to do with progress in the league and cups, rather than the football being played.

In terms of football, we haven't improved significantly at all in the last few years.

We are starting to win major cups, though, and a club of our stature should be doing that.

Rashford has a tendency of doing such things
I honestly get a feeling that he has taken the competition to Martial to extreme levels. They was no fecking way for him to score a goal from there and he still tried to do something.

How many times has he given away the ball this evening while trying to protect it? How’s this good enough for Man Utd?

David Silva protects the ball better than Matic who’s probably few inches taller than the Biblical Goliath. Too many unnecessary touches when a single one touch would suffice.
Matic is terrible. Already said ages ago should be replaced with a more dynamic playmaking DM. The dawdling on the ball is painful to watch. People have a go at Fellaini and Pogba but Matic is sometimes even worse. He slips under the radar just because he doesn't have a fancy haircut etc. Not good enough for me.

Praying to God that Fellaini fecks off to China, as long as we have him our attackers will never try to open up teams by passing well they will always take the easy approach of playing a long ball or a cross into the box.
I don't normally agree with the notion that selling players would improve us as a team, like lots seem to do on here. But he would be my exception that proves the rule. If that plan B is removed, they might have to actually learn to play football with each other.

    You forgot about De Gea.

Martial and De Gea are the only ones not getting the hairdryer. Everyone else has been shambolic.

Rashford refusing to pass equals lack of confidence. Who makes this shit up?

I don't like Mourinho that much, but it makes no sense to blame him for Rashford shitshow in any way. No sense at all.

Still can't wrap my head around what Rashford was thinking with not passing to Martial, couldn't let Martial score over him?
I wouldn't go that far. Rashford has done it a few times this season to different players.

Need more movement up top. Rashford has been trying. Martial has been stationary and Mata has found the wrong spaces.
Guess I'm the only one here thinking Martial has tried to make himself available to players for the pass, including in 1-2s which he starts but players are choosing not to pass to him?

Problem is I have no doubts Martial in the same situation would have passed it normally without fuss !

    He’s massively overrated!

The annoying thing is 80% of our fans support him, they don’t support the club. The school of thought is Sanchez’s arrival has been unfair to him.

However, the crux of the issue is simple. If Martial was pulling down trees, we wouldn’t need to sign Sanchez. If Martial was 10% as good as Mbappe, we wouldn’t need to sign Sanchez.

He can feck off if he wants. I have never seen anyone blessed with so much talents but as lazy as Martial. He’s too basic. He never runs behind defenders, he wants to collect the ball in front of his markers and then hope for luck to get past them.

There’s no football intelligence in him.
Yes. Thank you. Specialy lazy part.
But you should be afraid of Martial FC fans, they are coming for you, with knifes.

On a positive note, Pogba’s hair looks fantastic. Love the subtlety.

And Mou’s glare is in peak form. Positively frightening.

A stance against wishing we were like City or Liverpool for a start. We can forge our own identity ffs.
I wasn't referring to our 'identity'. We've lost our identity years ago and are trying to get some of it back, but that's beside the point.

I was merely making the point that those teams movement is so much more enthusiastic and relentless. We seem so slow and lazy, very irritating to watch.

With posts like these, you lose all credibility. Just a quick FYI.
You can disagree if you want. The facts are the facts. Just look at how Sane plays in comparison to Martial. It’s like Martial doesn’t even want any dirt on his shorts.....

There is a FA cup final and a WC coming up and the young guns plays with minimal commitment and zero brains.

I don't think its lack of confidence, more lack of composure. The lad has been in and out of the team like a fiddlers elbow, he desperately wants to score to put himself in contention for a regular start. The trouble is he's fecking it up at the moment :)

We have different opinions on that half then

    what midfield?
those that waste the space between defence and attack.

Seriously, know this game isn't all that and we're 98% assured of 2nd place, but that passenger play in midfield seriously pisses me off.

Don't know if the issue is the players, the mentality or whatever. Brighton look more likely to score.

Don't think it has something to do with Martial, though. It is just who he is. It is good when a young striker has a lot of confidence and many strikers are selfish. But he really goes too far with it.

Agree with what you’ve said here. Can’t beleive some of the things I’ve read. He’s actually worked pretty hard just never received the ball from his team mates when he has made the run. He also started most of very limited moves.
