Strolled it today. Made it look easy. Him and Griezmann linked up brilliantly.

What a player. Looks so much more confident.

Not his best game creatively, 6,5 for me. Get better near the end of the game

It hurts me seeing him play such a restricted role, even though he does it very well, because his potential is so great offensively.

The Norwegian commentators were going on about how "if he gets into shape he can be an important player for France." Suffers from the perception that if he's not producing highlights, he's not playing well.

Thought he was good again today, after perhaps looking a bit rusty the first 15 minutes or so. I do agree that he has potential to contribute more in attack though, but it would be unfair to not give him credit for playing well within the role he's been given in the team.

He's had a good world cup IMO. He's grown in confidence the longer it's been going on. Hope he keeps it up, he's really flourished being the main creative outlet in the France midfield, having constant runners is always nice alongside Kante who's been an absolute machine.

Obviously he wasn't playing today but I can't emphasise enough how well Matuidi balances the midfield for them. I hope we could replicate something like that with Matic/Fred with our wingers/full backs looking for that overlap because more often than not Pogba can find them with his passing range.

He plays like a less mature version of Zidane, he has everything in his locker. France and us are very lucky to have him.

One thing I’ve noticed is how switched on he and Mbappe are together. Pogba is the only one who seems to be able to help the youngster exploit his pace behind defences.

He was excellent today IMO. He couldn't have performed his role much better today and him and Kante were the reason Uruguay were useless in midfield because they bossed it.

Must be said too, Griezmann looked a lot better today than he did against Argentina.

He has been brilliant, I gave up on him being more conservative but he has been really good in the last two games. Though unlike today, against Argentina he disappeared for about 30 minutes, he was pretty good for 60 but those 30 minutes are perplexing.

He's providing the French team exactly what he needs, and he's doing it perfectly. Fantastic player.

Hes been absolutely fantastic in the tournament so far.

Controlled the game today. Nothing too elaborate like he is sometimes guilty of. Kept it simple but still very effective, playing in between the lines and linking well with the front four.

When I see him play like this, it makes me want to see him in a 4231.

Actually, as ive said before, his best form came at the start of the season, where he played as a number 6 in a 4231.

Think he is arguably best midfielder in this world cup. Modric is also one more, both had very good world cup.

Was good. Kept it simple. Personally prefer the performances where he's creating multiple opportunities even though they come with several mistakes

Crucially on the right side as he has done for France this WC. I know everyone keeps harping back to his Juve days playing left of the midfield 3 but I'd like to see him right of the 3 for us next season. Keeps him out of Sanchez's way as well which was another problem last season

He’s been very good & not tried to do too much by himself all tournament. Hopefully carries this form into next season.

We really should have bought Kante in 2016. Brings a level of consistency out of Pogba. Hes been really good overall though this tournament. Still feel theres a level more for him to reach, and I wouldnt put him in the team of the tournament ahead of Kante/modric/rakitic/coutinho, but he has been very good.

Really hope he can get that consistency next season. Started the season off well, them his form fell off a cliff and was mostly poor after that with random good games. He'll probably miss the start of the season with them going all the way now, so I'd expect a bit of a slow start to the season, just hopefully by September hes in the swing of things.

Also definitely think he generally plays 'smarter' on the right side. On the left he tries being a left winger too often and takes too many shots. Hes much better at coming in off the right as he looks for the pass rather then shot.

Depends what you want from a midfielder. Kante has been everywhere on the pitch but others have been better at other things.
Kanté has been excellent with the ball, he has stiffled every team he faced and he does make lots of foul despite tackling everything standing. He has been the best midfielder with Modric and Coutinho.

Found him to he frustrating with us this past season but he’s impressed me this world cup. Hope he can transfer these performances over next season.

Pogba has arguably the best defensive central midfield player next to him, who has made Danny Drinkwater a PL winner in the past and has made Bakayoko and Fabregas serviceable for Chelsea.

Pogba has been immense this tournament and his partnership with Kante is the best central midfield pairing in the world.

Our fans have a pathological need to shit on any of our players playing well in international football.

This. I still can’t believe a mastermind like Mourinho keep giving him defensive duties like he is a Vieira or Scholes. Let him play like Zidane and he’ll be the best player in the world. Trust me.

Someone give this message to Jose.
