That's great to hear. If the story is faked, we should ban Custis from our pressers. SAF used to do that with the BS journalists.
You think Fergie exclusively banned journos because they were lying, or also because they were telling the truth on a subject he didn't like? I imagine it was quite a bit of both.

Not sure what's entirely wrong with that stuff mentioned in the ESPN article to be honest.

Well apart from taxidermy, as I think that's a horrible practice.

You in favour of doing that to Animals yeah?
I don't but a lot of these complaints are taking the same tone and shape as the incessant critiques over Raheem Sterlings lifestyle...

It's extraordinary that we have these two competing narratives that either (a) everything is more or less fine within the usual variables, or that (b) they're not talking to each other at all and it's all gotten pretty bad. Both are perfectly possible.

We can't know which is true, because we live in a world of fake news and clickbait where everyone lies. I no more trust Sky Sport/club press office news than I do The Scum. So it's purely down to what fits into your personal world view. But none of us has any good reason to think we're right.

'Mourinho and Pogba truth uncovered'
The truth behind Paul Pogba’s reported fractured relationship with Jose Mourinho should not be believed, according to Sky Sports reporter James Cooper.

“Manchester United have spoken to me this morning,” he said.

“Which is very rare and unusual for Manchester United to react to stories at all, particularly to react so angrily.

“And they are angry, they are incensed, they’re telling me there was no bust up between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba.

“The reports of this are absolute nonsense.

“Furthermore, the relationship between the two people is good.”

If this is true, I would back Mourinho to place a permanent mass ban on these tabloids at future press conferences.

Absolute cretins. The lot of them. I'm actually outraged.

I've read the quotes, The Mail say they were after the game, but I didn't see this interview or its context. What he said to the English speaking media after the game was excellent. I'm not going to call out our best player as a twat based on a quote from The Daily Mail which has zero context.

No point using facts here people will believe what they want to suit their own agenda.

There has not been one proper source for any of the nonsense quotes regarding this story but most people here have swallowed it regardless.

Why can't they go to some other clubs and cause havoc. I know news from our club sells more newspapers but they are destroying us with some of these stories. Ban all these.

Tomorrow press conf will be massive for our season. Question about pogba will be asked. So i expect two answers.
1) if story about unrest is true, jose will attack pogba for recent comments and we will have open war which can finish only with one of them leaving
2) if story is bs, jose will attack media
Jose will 100% attack the media. He will achieve nothing by attacking Pogba and further alienate both him and the fan base, at this point it’s too much of a risk for him to make that call.

There should be a huge seige mentality around the club after this. ABU scum love to read negative things about us, it gives them ammunition. Some of them are members of the press and are being allowed to blatantly lie ffs.

I hope Jose bans them.

As expected, glad the club have nipped it in the bud. Yet there are still people who don't believe there is an agenda against united or that negative stories about us don't sell papers, this rumour absolutely blew up and it was merely a fabricated story in the worst paper in the country. How anyone with a moral compass can work for that utterly diabolical publication is beyond me, let alone people who buy it.

Be prepared for Moody Pogba this season. Very similar to Ronaldo in the beginning of 08/09 season.

I might be reading between the lines but I saw that video Lingard posted of the lads in the changing room attempting that Dele Ali celebration and he looks miserable. Total opposite to how he would usually be in these Lingard social media videos.

I’m expecting him to get his move next summer or January.

This has to be sarcasm surely, the same video with him fooling around and laughing with his teammates is evidence that he's miserable?

Spot on. It's the same paper that links us to every player under the sun (:wenger:)through the summer with mystical "sources". People must be hell bent on misery to believe this shit without proof.

Oh, haterz. He's entitled to live like a sultan of old, he won't get fined for that.

My fave is the special device he's had installed in his arse which stamps «Pogpoo» in gold letters on every piece of shit he takes.

It goes well with the cheerleader squad of sixty virgins (several of whom are Caf posters, incidentally) who shout «Pogboom made a Pogpoo, he's a big Pogboy» in unison when he successfully produces a turd.

Fair point, the same people who believe this crap are the ones who would discredit the same papers sources when they produce a headline such as 'United in advanced talks to sign Neymar'/'Ronaldo wants OT return etc.'. As someone else said its a negative confirmation bias, we believe all the bad and brush off anything positive, when in reality it's all utterly fabricated.

There is certainly an media bias wanting to creating a lot of negative stories on United. That said, where there is smoke, there’s fire. Mou has been unduly harsh on Pogba and certainly Pogba’s comments about getting fined for speaking the truth cannot be interpreted as anything other than being discontented in some way with Mou.

Pogba could help put an end to all this nonsense with a Tweet/ Facebook/ Instagram post. That he doesn't says a lot.

Exactly.

Pogba never interacts with journos in mixed zone yet he chose to do it on the eve of opening day. He posted some crypted nonsense on his Facebook earlier that week too. Just listen to what he's saying, how many times did he mention he's happy to play for his team-mates, fans and "those who trust". He left out Mourinho's name at every opportunity, he could've put an end to all this nonsense by Sunday but he chose not to. Let's hope for our sake he can stop being a baby and sort whatever issues he has with the manager in-house like he should've done in the first instant instead of mouthing off to the media.

What a surprise. The media are having a field day with our fans.
