He's playing like a 8th grader vs 5th grade kids.

All big and strong....shields the ball, looking for fancy moves and all that....

But in reality, he's a fecking joke. He's not running, with the ball, with out the ball.
He's overcomplicating things, he takes too much time on the ball, releases it late....not to mention the horrible back passes straight for a counter.

In all fairness, although I might be stretching it, but I think our downfall, and ultimately Jose's downfall is Pogba, and his return to the club.

He's just not suited for the club. He has prevented us in searching for better footballers, and better suited players for Mourinho's style of play.
He is showing nothing. And will continue to show nothing. He's not even a luxury player, he's just bad.

Almost bad as Rooney on his bad day, but not quite there yet. Rooney was far more effective though, even during his bad days/months.

He is young but the inconsistency in his form is just nuts. First half we were great, I thought he was set for a great game. Second half, never left the changing room
He is 25 years old - when is the young thing going to disappear and people admit he should be in his prime? I honestly don't see it with him, as a Utd player anyway he is average at best.

Honestly believe he's the most overrated footballer on the planet.

The shit some gave Wayne Rooney for less than what Pogba is up to with his agent is a sad sight indeed.

Yet another disaster of a performance from him

Pogba gave zero fecks today! I can understand not liking the manager however there's no excuse not to play for the badge and the fans. Unfortunately we're not in a position where we can afford to sell otherwise he should walk out with Jose.

Even if/when Mourinho gets sacked, I still hope we sell Pogba. Don't like him. Don't rate him. Overrated luxury player who performs once every 2 months and people think he has world class potential. Yeah right. Look at midfielders like Modric. That's a world class midfielder. Not fecking Pogba. Get rid of him and every Raiola client at the club.

Why does he always pull the biggest kid in the playground shit? Tries to prove he is way stronger than his opponent then fecks about and gives it away. You aint all that Paul son, get your fecking basics right you daft cnut!

A luxury player in a team that's a million miles away from being able to afford a luxury player.

Feck this guy, clearly as day he's given up on playing for Jose, but tonight he gave up playing for the fans and the shirt.

Sell him next summer and be done with the circus surrounding him.

I'd still keep him, but he does make it hard to root for him.

And I won't even get started on Raiola.

Though if a club offers a huge sum of money for him next season, I'd probably get rid.

Sell him in Jan already.

We're not finishing top 4 so the faster we get rid of this prima donna and his agent, the better.

Feck the cnut! He's poison to the team. Sell him to Barca or give him away.

Pogba reminds me more and more of Juan Sebastian Veron.

Veron was a player of undisputable technical ability who could execute some sublime passes BUT he didn't fit into our system properly.

At the time, United were a dynamic, fast unit but when the ball landed at Veron's feet he would hesitate a few seconds before looking for the "Hollywood pass"-it used to kill our momentum and I'm seeing alarming similarities with Pogba.

Pogba has this annoying habit of hanging onto the ball for longer than is necessary. It's almost a physical brag as to how good he thinks he is e.g. "look at me, I've got 4 opposition players buzzing around me and yet I can still hold them off or dribble around them" when what I think we really need is someone who can release the ball much faster. He's capable of doing it, the hard part isn't the physical technique but the mental judgement to know when to be direct and when to parade your skills. At the moment I have seen no signs that he's learning the difference nor can I see any signs that we are trying to coach this out of him so we're left with a perfect demonstration of this theory in tonight's match where Pogba almost inexplicably wants to hug the ball at his feet for no strategic/tactical purpose and then berates his team mate for not making themselves available for a pass.

Can’t wait to see him under a new manager (probably at another club at this rate) to see what the craic is with him. He’s so up and down.

Yh true, 25 is still young (ish) for a CM. Would bite Barca's hand off for Rakitic and anyone right now. Perfect example of how important the mental side of football is - has everything he needs physically but zero balls when it gets tough

Take the money and run. His stock will never be higher than it is at the moment. He's never worth £150m, let alone what we paid for him.

Always trying to play the game as if it's his personal show. Too arrogant and he thinks he's better than he actually is. Have the talent but not willing to do everything in favor of the team.

Had enough of his ego. Start playing better instead of making stupid interviews or get the feck out with your cnut of an agent.

Jose has taken all the heat and Pogba's getting a free ride. Got out shown again by Eriksen, but Eriksen is a better player than him in terms of impact, consistency and output.

Snap your hand off for anything over £150 million for him. He's not up to it. If he goes to Barcelona or Real Madrid he'll be eaten alive by the fans.

Gut wrenching to see his performances for United after watching him for France in the summer.....such a fair weather player.

For someone who people want to be the figurehead of our team he's incredibly ineffective and sloppy in the middle of the park all too often. Needs to rediscover his WC form.
WC form is a myth. His level is raised by having other WC players around him, not the other way around.

Even in our good spell tonight he managed to be non-existent. Underwhelming, and I'm starting to think cashing in wouldn't be such a bad idea if we reinvest it correctly. The biggest issue is that the big clubs out there aren't stupid enough to spunk crazy money on a player that hasn't shown himself to be a superstar on the pitch still. Maybe he's reached his ceiling?

From the outside looking in I'd compare him to Özil. You add Pogba or Özil to an already elite side with other world class players next to him and they look amazing. Count on them to shoulder the load as the main man in side that isn't quite as good and they struggle.

As you saw for France when he was flanked by Kante & Matuidi. As you saw at Juve with the other midfielders they had.

I remember last season on a thread called something like 'Pogba versus Scholes: who was / is better?' and there was someone on here who claimed that 'Pogba unlocking only HALF of his potential throughout the remainder of his career would see him become and be remembered as the greatest midfielder of all time'.

Delightful stuff.

In a team fighting for its life (and even playing well in the first half), he was an absolute no mark. The human manifestation of 'all the gear, no idea'. Said it before, he's the ultimate icing midfielder, we need a lot more sponge and cream first before we can carry that.

He doesn't really excel at anything. He's played defensive midfielder, central midfielder, part of a front 3, number 10 and is at best average at every one. First Matic was going to 'unleash' him...he didn't. Now it's Fred...again, no difference yet.

People keep on talking about the World Cup as if he was spectacular and single-handedly won it...he was better and wasn't as wasteful but I didn't see anything close to extraordinary - decent, mature performances but France had more important players and better performers.

You can talk about attitude or mentality but ultimately he's just nowhere near as good as his profile and reputation suggests. Even at his absolute best he's nowhere near one of the league's best players - De Bruyne, Salah, Hazard are in a different league to him. I'd snap City's hand off if they'd swap Sane for him - for me, a much more impressive young player.

He has talent and is young enough to prove people like me wrong but without the price tag and promotion around him, you're left with a player that frankly just isn't that good at this point. Talk of getting £150m+ for him just seems ludicrous - it's certainly not based on what he's done in the pitch for 2 years. I think Juventus saw us coming a mile off. Then you add all this leaked agent stuff, with him seemingly angling for a move, change of manager or new contract and it's just not worth the aggro.

He's a player who needs that arm around the shoulder from the manager and he isn't going to get it from Jose.

What he needs is a cattle rod up the backside. He's earning £350,000 a week at our club. The average UK household will earn that in nearly a decade. That sort of reward itself should be a motivator, let alone the drive to succeed sportsmen should have, or even basic professionalism.

He should be fined for that performance, as well as some others.

Should have played McTominay over him. Would have at least given us a better workrate.

The two moments where he shielded the ball and put it out for a throw in, and also the quick free kick giveway, just summed him up.
Hes not even doing what Yaya Toure used to do in terms of lumbering around, then going on one surging charge to change the game. We dont even get that.

It all started with these idiotic "will be fined" comments. Great response from him in the next 2 games after such comments.

He has left nothing for anyone to support him for anymore.

I totally agree with what you are say but unfortunately football players in terms of salaries, lifestyle and what not are miles away from reality.

The reward is no longer motivating when players have become business assets who a big say when it comes to our profits. Once you've entered the world of a professional footballer who is guaranteed 10 years in the top flight you don't need to worry about anything for the rest of your life in my view.
