Give it to Carras til the end of the season
Why do you think everyone is so frustrated? Because we actually have good players that don't perform at all. The ability is not in question. It’s bollocks in your opinion. Not in mine.
Can you elaborate on that??This. It felt like his team tonight anyway. Very different set up that had Carricks fingerprints all over it.
He's my first thought, but just wondering if taking over in this atmosphere might not be too much for him....Give it to McKenna, he is a very good coach, also as an added bonus will work well with the younger players in the squad.
Jose is neither. It is both, today was on the players in the first half for not scoring, but Jose's and the players reaction to the 2-0 wasnt good, even if he set up well. But the fans are overrreacting, he wont be sacked, far from it.Disagree. I don't think there's anyone available out there now who would do a better job. When you've got Lukaku missing open goals, and Phil Jones facing the wrong way when marking Harry Kane on a corner, you're going to lose the big games that are decided on these margins. The team played well tonight for the most part, and the players are still clearly playing for him. They just aren't good enough.
Both never managed a first team squad, very young and have very little experience between them. We'd need someone with way more authority to get this lot playing decent football again. It would be McKenna and Carrick.
Which is why a caretaker makes sense rather than handing/courting another full time manager before the end of the seasonDOF before any other appointment at this club.
Poch only recently signed a 6 year deal with Spurs, it's highly unlikely he is going to jump ship this year or even the next. Why is Poch out of reach? Not sure why everyone associated to Spurs are so hard to get.
What did Jose do wrong at 2-0? I thought the players reaction was great, they tried everything to get back into the game which is partly what left us so exposed for their 3rd.Jose is neither. To be fair, we could do a lot worse than giving Wenger the tools to put one over Arsenal.Arsene Wenger. Laugh if you like. It's like Apollo joining Rocky.
It's actually perfect timing now, you come in knowing people aren't expecting you to challenge for trophies. Get almost a full season to get up and running and make a transfer list, knowing you'll get unflinching backing because of the situation.Zidane wouldn't be interested in a top 10 scrap. He'd want to wait until the summer.
He wasted 2 subs, Fellaini and Lindelöf are useless. Long balls is not a reaction, it rarely works. And every one knows what we are doing when behind. Today was another game where it didnt work, surprise. When we go behind City or Pool, he will do the same again and we wont come back. His plan B is always the same. The effort is there, but we dont use the ball well and neither should a top team rely on luck and long balls when we have good footballers in the squad. What did Jose do wrong at 2-0? Now yes. But we're gonna wait until we hit rock bottom, and until the gangrene has rotted off the entire limb before we go for the amputation. It's actually perfect timing now, you come in knowing people aren't expecting you to challenge for trophies. Cantona for caretaker because he'll just go full out attack and flair.
I’m sorry but I do not agree. We have some good players yes but depth and talent wise I feel we are quite a way behind the top teams in league and Europe. Why do you think everyone is so frustrated? Because we actually have good players that don't perform at all. The ability is not in question.
Mathematically relegated? Now yes. But we're gonna wait until we hit rock bottom, and until the gangrene has rotted off the entire limb before we go for the amputation.
Lindelof came on because Jones was injured tbf. Fellaini is useless though, and it's on Jose that he didn't have a player like Martial to come off the bench. He wasted 2 subs, Fellaini and Lindelöf are useless. Long balls is not a reaction, it rarely works. And every one knows what we are doing when behind. Today was another game where it didnt work, surprise. Let the rest of the entire board, SAF and some of the legends together take that call. Anyone but Woody.Who's going to hire the DoF?
Otherwise yeah I agree with you.
Yeah Martinez has a cushy job with Belgium. Blanc's a good shout for caretaker, not in a job now and has some experience to ride out a season. Can put himself back on the map too as a manager for other clubs.I'd take Laurent Blanc or Roberto Martinez in the short-term. Don't think Martinez would accept that sort of appointment, though.
Exactly. If he it doesn't work out, he was just doing a caretaker job or some such spiel. Would give him time to settle without the pressure. Still need a world class coaching team around him though if we get him. It's actually perfect timing now, you come in knowing people aren't expecting you to challenge for trophies. That window told me all I needed to know about him - overpaying for Fellaini and the whole Herrera fiascoTbf he didn't hire Moyes, but was still responsible for this crap Fellaini window.
Spot on on the rest. I'm not waiting for a third managerial appointment failure. Feck him off already.
