Dissecting the quotes the way you like ? I see you obviously left "I know he tries the best for me" and "If it is possible, good, if it is not possible we keep fighting, working and believing in the players that we have." Because it doesn't suit your opinion and proves it wrong. Pogba quotes after Wolves on the other hand are all on the same line.

Just admit that you're wrong.
I put it as plainly as possible to show the similarities.

Pogba has also publicly thanked Mourinho just last week. Does it mean he has no problem with Mourinho and its all just a myth?

C'mon dude, wisen up.

It's time anyone who's anyone in denial about this wakes up and realises this too. The only constant is Jose Mourinho, this isn't new or surprising. It's hugely disappointing because we all wanted it to be a success but it's failed before it even really got going. No elite trophies and in my opinion he'll leave here having failed to get us back to the top, which is what we hired him for.
Sigh... Constant means it always happens. When in fact, and sorry to burst the circle jerk happening with the "Jose out" lot, its happened twice, at two clubs we would all consider a circus, where players absolutely do reign over managers. Few of them last long enough to ever stamp their authority and are undermined constantly by players. Jose was not the only victim at both these clubs.

So I ask you, and every other member of the "Jose out" club, do you want United to be like a Real Madrid or a Chelsea, where we change manager every 2 seasons and allow players to effectively run the club? Is that the United you guys are looking for? I thought United fans viewed the club as something more than a

I'm not even massively pro Mourinho, I find him extremely frustrating, especially with regards to Martial, but in this battle, its Joses side everytime. The reasons are obvious, Pogba is the player and he is undermining not only the manager, but his team mates every time he opens his mouth to the press. People can state that "but Jose done it" and yes he has, but its part of his job description, to speak to the press. Hes admitted he was wrong to be so honest in the past and as others have stated, hes trying to change the way he deals with it. Whats Pogba doing exactly?

I have put both Mourinho quotes in summer and Pogba quotes after Wolves game in front of you. If you believe that both are identical, it's up to you then, as I can do nothing more.

YESHHHHH, We'll GOOO for it.
Is he supposed to lie & day how great we are & have ‘character ‘ ala a smarmy rogers type?

I’d rather a manager who actually gives an honest opinion to the fans then pr rubbish
But you have a problem players doing the same?

I'll gladly walk Pogba to wherever he wants to go if he pulled this shit with Fergie in charge. I've only known Fergie, Moyes and LvG in charge of players before Mou. Fergie was a god like being, but Mou constantly is 'frank' with the press about his players (read as throwing the players under the bus) and this to me is a big problem and leads players being cute with the press.

Can't imagine you would feel that warmly towards a manager who accused you of exaggerating your injuries.
Times like these, you understand how classy Smalling is. Keeps his head down and always works hard, never publicly speaks against the manager, not even when wrongly accused of exaggerating his injuries. Top professional.

Those are not the only quotes out there are they? This is a saga, not an episode.

Let's face the facts Jose has the team long enough and we are going backwards, the fact that one of our players has to ask for the team to "Attack, attack, attack at home against Wolves says it all for me. Jose needs to pack his bags. But A certain Ed Woodward does not come out of all this smelling of roses, he should also pack his bags for his refusal to either back the manager or sack him. He has done neither. Back, sack, or pack.

Time will tell if this is true but I hope to god it is , this guy thinks he is bigger than the manager and bigger than the club .
Jose must stand up to him
I always wonder why a manager is seen to be bigger than the players? I get the no player bigger than a club thing, for big teams anyway because if Messi goes to A league 2 team then...

Anyways who do you think is more valuable to Manchester United, Jose or Pogba?

Don’t care anymore.

Sick to fecking death of hearing Pogba’s and Mourinho’s names.

I hope they both leave so we can just concentrate on the football.

Nothing to do with style of play and everything to do with output from end of Jan 2018 onwards.
If we were declining so much we wouldn't have ended 2nd on 81 points.

My issue with this is the fact that it could be sorted internally and not be manipulated in the press. It's an issue that needs sorting asap otherwise it'll dominate over our football all season long.

I brought 2 different quotes that weren't said at the same time. Time for you to bring one quote that he had a dig at Ed similar to what Pogba did after Wolves.

And you know that how ? For all we know there could 5-6 players who have a problem with Mourinho - but simply 2 that are outspoken. It's impossible - it just as well may only be 2. The problem is - those are 2 of the 3 in our side with the highest individual potential
We all thought that Shaw has problems and now he says that Jose helped him a lot. How we know that Martial has problem besides that he is not playing? Neither player is happy when he does not play.
Pogba problems started when Pogba was benched and after that it was all on Pogba. He attacked Jose in media many times so in this case, Jose is right 100%. If Mata or Jones behaved like Pogba every fan would be on Jose's side. But this is Pogba so ....

Must have been shocking for Mourinho to see someone talk via the press instead of directly face to face. Not the world he knows and lives in.

I’m not a huge Jose fan but I think from a managerial point I think this is a great move. He’s underlining his authority, making it quite clear he will punish any one publicly questioning his authority. Pogba is totally in the wrong for saying what he did so publicly, even tho I agree with his view, to say it so publicly to try and carry favour with the fans to undermine the manager is totally unacceptable and harmful to the team. Worst thing that could have happened to Pogba is win the World Cup (which he did ironically in a conservative, defence minded team) he thinks he’s far bigger than he is. Let him go to the highest bidder.

You brought it up yourself.

"I want 2 players and I have none. I gave the list to the club 5 months ago. You have to speak to the CEO"

What is this kind of interpretation ? This is the actual quote again :

"I would like to have two more players," he said.

"I think I am not going to have two. I think it's possible I am going to have one. It's possible.

"I gave a list to the club of five names a few months ago and I wait to see if it is possible to have one of these players.

"If it is possible it is possible, if it is not possible it is not possible.

If it is possible, good, if it is not possible we keep fighting, working and believing in the players that we have."

You agree with his point of view yet you want him sold to the highest bidder and carry on experiencing the opposite with the same manager?

Im all for this authority flexing but what exactly is Valencia bringing to the captaincy table to warrant the armband?

The manager has to be the boss or anarchy rules, surely that is the same the world over once a player begins to dominate proceedings then what stops other players trying to follow suit .

The minute any player tried it on with Fergie then they were history no matter how big a name they were .

And before someone says it yes I know Jose isn’t fergie BUT he is the most successful manager apart from fergie it has to be his way or the highway same as it would be with Pep , Klopp or any other top manager .

Pogba is only valuable it terms of what we can sell him for his nonsense is causing rift after rift which must be having an effect on the entire squad

I can see why some would say that tbh.

His football was very boring but he had a plan - possession football and developing the youth.

With Jose 3 years in and we don't know what dealing with.
Also many found him humorous (myself included) and hard to dislike as a person. I genuinely felt for him at the end (though it was right for him to move on).

Moyes was a cnut. Mourinho is a cock.

Just do as we did; appoint Ancelotti, Benitez for half a season and then Zizou and you'll win 4 CL's in 5 years. It's all worth it!

My friend supports Arsenal and he hates Utd and in Jose's first season he told me that Jose was going to ruin Rashford and Martial and will have us playing ugly football and would loose the dressing room. He also said we haven't got the same Jose that was at Porto, Chelsea And Inter. He said Jose had changed..
In all honesty, Rashford has ruined Rashford. Say what you want about style of play or whatever but he has been awful for ages, even Gary Neville admitted that on Monday Night Football a couple of weeks into the season. He has been shocking. Martial has the look of a man who is perpetually fed up and while he has class, he doesn’t do anywhere near enough off the ball for the team in my opinion.

Fair enough if you don’t like Jose and sure he’s got some stuff wrong. But Rashford and Martial should be taking long hard looks at themselves as well as Pogba too. It takes two to tango.

I think the transfer market is where he failed here - imagine if he brought in KDB, Eriksen and Hummels etc to play the brand of football he wanted.

Because that's what Fergie literally believed in and set our club based on it ?

"The minute a Man United player thought he was bigger than the manager, he had to go. David thought he was bigger than Alex Ferguson. You cannot have a player taking over the dressing room. That was the death knell for him."
