What 'machine' is Klopp referring to?

A bottling machine? If so, then mission accomplished three times

They have also met their 'ambition' target of celebrating at being runners up and having a good cup run. Shame it's the ambition of a lower league team

I don't understand how you can 'bottle' finals when you're playing superior opposition. There's maybe an argument to say that we bottled the Europa League final because we were winning at HT but we were never ahead in the League Cup or the Champions League final.

We weren't favorites in any of those finals either, and two of the other three finals he lost were against Bayern iirc.

It's like when people were saying Spurs bottled the league in 15/16. How can you bottle the league if you were never leading the pack to begin with?

Klopp is ridiculously infectious isn't he? And not in the syphilus kind of way. He's got us to T.E.A but still needs to achieve the M. Let's see this season.

Can you imagine Fergie smiling and joking around whilst losing?

That’s the difference between the elite managers and Klopp.

“Serial Winner Klopp.”

Winning by not actually winning things. Didn’t Liverpool fans used to laugh at Everton for this?

I was just replying to a dig at Klopp with a post on Mourinho for the sake of comparison.
Serial winner who has a dour and serious expression who wants to win versus serial loser who hugs, jumps, smiles and is happy shen his team isn't winning.

Hardly a good comparison tbh when they're nothing alike.

Liverpool have won plenty might want to google that. We still laugh at Everton, like you used to laugh at City before they got their act together now they laugh at you.

Indeed. Klopp and Mourinho are nothing alike.

Sure, I may take the Mourinho of a few moons ago over Klopp. But today's version? No, ta. You lot are welcome to him. Enjoy.

We'll win a final soon enough. Anyway, I'd rather be falling at the final hurdle than any of the previous ones.

Liverpool have won 1 trophy in 10 years and that was the League Cup. Not exactly serial winners anymore, in fact quite the opposite. A Liverpool fan talking about the past, ahh typical.

Also the guy was kind of referring to Klopp and the fact that the man is a failure/bottler who rarely wins anything. The excuses are also running out.

By the way, why are we letting people from RAWK onto this forum?!

And that is why your club and fans accept not winning trophies, you celebrate mediocrity and having fun over winning.
You might want to look up what mediocrity means first of all. And at least we're able to have fun whilst watching our team play, unlike some these days.

I'd imagine City fans also laugh at you quite a lot too. No trophy since 2012 isn't it? Whilst they've been winning league titles. But you can always point to the 'nearly won the Champions League' trophy? Or the 4th placed trophy season before that?

You can gloat about Klopp and his "pashun" but the simple fact remains is he still hasn't won jack all since arriving at Liverpool. The difference between Utd fans and Liverpool fans is that we know when we're rubbish and we don't worship every single manager that walks through the door. We have higher expectations than you though.

Mediocrity is the perfect word to describe everything about your club. Fun doesn't win trophies and accepting fun without anything to show for it is pathetic.

Nauseating...

I'll funny admit that if Klopp was our manager we'd probably think the sun shone out his arse but this would still piss me off. Laughing and smiling and joking with a rival manager when you're losing an important game? Get fecked hippy.

I would like to know what Liverpool fans here think of Klopp jumping and singing few hours after losing CL final.
And what they would think if Jose did the same.

I'd be worried if I was a Liverpool fan, He's approaching Brendan Rodgers' level of genius and We know what happened to him. Brendan was a top top manager but his methods were unorthodox. He reached a level of football managerial ability that no one had ever thought of before, such as sending letters to the players' mums, making up latin quotes and mumbling "when you spent hundred millions you expect to be challenging for the league" during his team talks, with dry lips.

If I am not mistaken, you are saying here that these final losses are all down to Klopp? While I am sure he could have done some things better, I don't subscribe to the notion that Klopp is a serial loser. It's as ridiculous as it is reductive.

But, every final - every game - has a unique set of circumstances, if not players. So the circumstances won't be the same in the next for a start. Some of the players will have changed, so there's that also.

Plus Klopp's new glasses.

Yet we've still won more than you in 5 years in our darkest period of the modern era.

You deluded cnuts don't half make me laugh, fancy preferring not to win anything if it means your manager is happy, smiley, huggy and all that bullshit. Most deluded fans in football.

It's much preferable to your alternative way, i.e. only having fun when you have something to show for it. You should try it sometime mate.

Remember the chosen one and van Gaals red army? You absolutely worship your managers and support them, when they walk through your door. And you persist on supporting them beyond reasonable. See how much time Mourinho has been given despite awful football, no challenges for the big trophies and all his antics. You are accepting mediocrity for the sake of supporting your manager. None of the other top clubs you're comparing yourself with, would do that.

We do the same with our managers mind, with Hodgson being the exception. He was hated from the start. But of course we worship Klopp. He's the best manager we could hope for, and you probably know that, right?

And you're right. There's higher expectations at your place because of your massive recent succes with Ferguson and all your money. We've learnt to be patient and lower our expectations. You will too, if you continue like you've done since Ferguson.

And trust me, we know too, when we're rubbish. We know the feeling. And we know that we aren't for the time being. Whether we'll win some trophies remains to be seen, but you have to be pretty biased to think we're rubbish now.

Sorry, but that is not true. Just compare the two situations:
Klopp reached the Final of Europe League and League Cup and the 8th rank in the premier league - yes, he did only train them for the last 30 games, but his points per game was 1,6. That is really, really bad. Second year he had no international games and still only managed 4th place in premier league with 2 points per game. Nobody at Liverpool questioned Klopp. Fa-Cup challenges? I don't think we should talk about that. Still got praise from everybody.

Mourinho won the Europe League and League Cup, reached 6th rank with 1,82 points per game. Not too good, at least Champions League qualification. Second year he failed in the Champions League and managed 2nd place in premier league with 2,13 points per game. Reached the fa cup final and lost. At least half of the fanbase of united questioned Mourinho, a lot of them wanted him to be gone before the season.

Now Klopp is good and Mourinho is losing control. But still Mourinho had on the paper more successful seasons than Klopp in his first 2 years. The difference is that our football was not very entertaining. But i'd still take our 2 seasons instead of yours, even with "shit football". At the end of the season i am not happy with "good, positive, entertaining" football, if we don't win anything. But, unfortunately, i expect Liverpool to win something in the next year(s).

Like I said. Higher expectations at Man United. And the fact, that we can SEE progress in the performances and in the squad, makes us believe in Klopp. Results and trophywise Mourinho has done better, but don't underestimate the entertainment factor. I think it's a huge part of your fans discontent with Mourinho.

If you're not winning, at least entertain. For what it's worth and given the choice, I prefer winning over entertaining, but I believe that winning and entertaining should go hand in hand. And I believe that most of your fans agree with that?

Surely we can all agree that the expectations at United are higher than they are at Liverpool.

Klopp's pretty much on par with the best we've managed in the Premier League years, whereas Mourinho is at a club that has known nothing but success up until 2013. Every manager United have now will be expected to get them competing for major honors within two years or the pressure builds. They're never going to be judged with the same yard stick.

That being said, our recent spending will probably see Klopp judged more harshly if we end up empty handed again.

Yet nearly three quarters of United fans want to get rid of the manager who won a couple of those trophies. So how would you rank them ? Deluded for believing that another manager could do any better ? Or simply a large bunch of spoilt brats who've been used to bigger & better things ? End of the day we're happy, not because we haven't won anything, or prefer not to win anything, but because - at this moment in time - we're heading in the right direction as a club. Can you honestly say - even taking into account the silverware you've accumulated since the great man stepped down over 5 years ago - your club is a happy club ?

This moron is getting pretty tiresome. It's not the Nations League's fault that you run your players into the ground with your heavy metal approach.
