Got to wonder what wouldve happened if Mayweather fought Pacquiao in his prime. Just a beast.
Styles make fights. I think Pacquaio being a southpaw with odd angles, hard to read movement and next level explosiveness would have Mayweather in such a shell he'd not mount enough offense to win enough rounds and I'd say Pacquaio edges a boring 12 round decision around 115-113 type cards.Got to wonder what wouldve happened if Mayweather fought Pacquiao in his prime. Can you order Fury-Wilder if you don’t have BT Sport?
Yeah, it’s bizarre that it’s in LA. Believe me, I work in Downtown LA (where the fight is) and I’ve not seen one billboard or even a poster for this fight. I’ve heard the sales are very slow. I think the promoters overrated Wilders drawing power. In my job even more people had heard of Fury than Wilder and to think Wilder thinks he deserves at least 50/50 with Joshua lol.It is odd that this fight isn't in the UK really.
I don't think it's a huge deal in the US. Fury is well known over here (and Wilder is a decent sized name to) and ultimately the winner should fight Joshua probably at Wembley, everything is set up there for it to be in the UK .

I think Brooklyn would have been a better fit. The tickets were outrageously priced too. They advertised $70 seats for the day they went on sale and the first hour the cheapest you could get were $1000 so they tried to pull a fast one and act like it’s sold out. A few hours later you could get $300s at that point I was turned off so decided I’m not going to this fight and now they’ve finally released the $70 seats and they aren’t even selling. PPV will be lucky if it cracks 200k buys whereas initially the PBC fans were saying it would be north of 1m.
A big fight, a greatly intriguing one but it’s well under the radar here and there’s not even one Mexican on the undercard. Just an odd event for LA.
I’m unlikely to even go to it because of the stunt they tried with the tickets. Also Stevenson-Gvozdyk is on Showtime just before the PPV starts so don’t want to miss that. That's mad. I think this event could end up hurting Wilder in regards to the Joshua fight if sales are as bad as its sounding from that post.
Brooklyn would make more sense state side and also can get people travelling from UK easier as well. I thought if they put it in the UK they could sell out every arena (Manchester Arena sold out quick for his return fight) and if a stadium was free they'd probably fill a decent sized one, it's turned people off over here now cos it's PPV at 5am, if it was over here I'd go and watch it or at least buy the PPV, now I'll justwatch on YouTube on Sunday morning.
He looks to be doing really well physically and mentally. Now, I don't think he'll ever get back his top form after what he did to his body but I tend to think he'll have enough to at least deserve to get the decision this weekend.Looking lean is Tyson, as far as I can tell.

The point is that no regular Americans know their HW champ. If you live in LA and know Tyson Fury, you’re obviously a boxing fan.Cringe.
Says "you're Tyson Fury." Tyson's conclusion is not to ask them.
And those people would also know Wilder. There would be plenty of non sports fans in the UK who would have no idea who Fury was either, and his fame certainly pale in significance when compared to Joshua, or other past champions. The point is that no regular Americans know their HW champ. Wilder has lost his marbles lol
Head says Wilder 10th round KO, heart says Fury 10th round TKO
What's low about that?Wow that's low. After that 'nice guy' act he was putting on.
Hope fury wins, but I think Wilder will knock him out. Fury has looked average at best since his comeback.
What's low about that?
Seeing a lot of boxers picking Fury for the win. Usyk, Lewis etc. But I'm still sure Wilder KO's him. 12 rounds is a long time for Fury to hold and spoil and stay away from that big right.
Assuming Fury doesn't try and finish early. I just don't rate Wilder at all, I think Fury will outbox him easily but that big right will cause a problem if he starts getting cocky.
Oh, that flew over my head. Fury had mental health problems?Slating him for raising awareness of mental health problems and using it for his own personal gains?
He's a bully. Trying to intimidate writers for FFS. This is from a man who assaulted another boxer in front of his wife and kids and openly said he wants to put Brezeale in a wheelchair so his child feels the pain of seeing his dad like that. He's also said he wants to kill a man in the ring and has been caught choking out a woman before. He's a racist scumbag.
Am I the only one who sees 2 guys desperately trying to sell the fight? I don't see anything genuine in these shenanigans at all.
It's an interesting fight in terms of both fighters looking to boost their negotiating power for the AJ fight because its risky on both sides.
I don't really rate wilder at all but I fancy him for this as its too early for fury given his lack of activity imo
Fury will jab and run for 10 ish rounds before getting caught when it'll likely be lights out.

I don't think Wilder will catch him... so Fury will jab and run his way to victory.
Can't see it being a very entertaining fight at all.
