I similarities to Moyes more and more with Mourinho. Both incredible egos. All about reacting to the other team and 'spoiling' a game rather than proactively entertaining the crowd. Protecting their own personal reputation at all costs and at any opportunity.Starting his excuses early I see... The guy is so insecure about everything. Basically justifying his selection by saying "you guys kept asking why they aren't in so I'm putting them in so you'll see why they didn't play before". No backbone whatsoever. Even if he goes by that dumb logic though, it's still wrong. You can't put 1 player people have asked for and then surround them by shit and expect them to do well.Tweet

Not saying they're same type of manager full stop but in terms of their reigns with United. A constant chip on the shoulder and promoting a distance from the club they're supposed to be connected to. It was all about Moyes as the individual and it's the same for Mourinho. Protecting themselves at all costs.
It's one of the most important qualities we need to look for in the next manager - someone who won't talk like this and accepts they are PART of this club and take the responsibility with that.
