Good postYes that's my point. Spurs was a perfect stepping stone for talented players which is why we could attract players like Modric and Bale. This helped us, and now I would say we are no longer a stepping stone although we could still lose players to Barca/Madrid etc. Having a clear pathway or promise of first team football is an important factor to sign talented players, and we do to some degree still have that since Poch does trust young players. I think young talented players would think twice when they sign for Chelsea/City when they see the playing time Hudson-Odoi is getting and Sancho got. With United I would say the same under Mourinho, but with Ole things might change although there are players on the bench such as Sanchez, Lukaku and Mata to get ahead of if you're an attacking player.
