Really wouldn’t mind the same formation used against Chelsea for this game. We were very effective in forcing them out wide and then when hazard got on the ball we dedicated an extra player to guard him. If Herrera wasn’t there in time we would see smalling close down the gap. It was easy because Chelsea only have one threat which is hazard.

Liverpool can play across the field with either mane or salah. I still think forcing them wide for the cross is key when on defense so with that I would like to see both smalling and lindelof in defense.

The first 15 minutes will be key as they like to come out guns blazing. We should try and match them in intensity given we had extra rest days. The rest of the game should be a smooth sail as they tire quickly after like 30 minutes.

Really not bothered about this game. We are at home and that historically has mattered. I voted 2-1. We will score early and concede a silly set piece goal towards the end.

I hope we get a good result or else I won't feel like watching the cup final. This has the potential to make or break my football week.

Will be a harder game than PSG, hopefully we have few reasons to get a weather report from the weatherman.

Not worried about this one, out of a combined 11, 2 maybe 3 of their players would get in our team. Salah, VVD and Alexander-Arnold. We've got equal or better in most departments and this will come down to who wants it more.

You look at Liverpool's talk in the press this week, stuff like "United want to stop us winning the league", "We must stop putting pressure on ourselves, it doesn't help", "Playing against United was a learning experience", "I always admired Sir Alex", "Solskjaer has done a great job at United" and "United fixture won't be decisive" all this has come form their manager and players. Tell me they're not mentally prepared to lose this one? Because they're talking as though they've already lost or they just want to get this tie out of the way with.
Didn't you predict we would easily demolish PSG?

I really didn’t think this would get such a negative reaction. Its been 3 hours and it’s still getting replies. It’s funny to me but nobody else sees the joke.
At least tell us what the joke was supposed to be because I keep looking at it and I don't understand.

Basically it’s a running joke on Twitter were each of the top 6 are doing all they can to stop Liverpool from lifting the title. It’s our turn to make sure they don’t win progress any further tomorrow. Next will be Chelsea in a few weeks and their logo will be added when that time comes.

I thought the pic was meant to symbolize how four clubs (Arse, Spuds, Cideh and United) had become united in their goal of stopping Liverpool from winning the league this season. Which would be weird. And wrong. And very taboo.

    I like it.

It’s all up to us now. Tomorrow will be remembered for a long time in history. When they speak of tomorrow we will rejoice because we know we were vital in defeating evil itself.
    Weird...

I think Mata will start as he usually plays decent against them.

Also staring Mata up top is a good option for us for our creativity in case Pogba gets man-marked.

This could be a plan B for Ole in case Pogba gets nullified.

Almost the same as mine. I have TAA in for Young, which seems like a no brainer. I think Lindelof vs Gomez is close though.

I wouldn't say a no brainer. Whilst not as good going forward as TAA, Young has proven to be solid for us at right back, especially in the big games.

I’m reading on Twitter that Matic and Martial aren’t with the rest of the United squad at their hotel.

    Is Matic injured?

Looks like it. Will probably either be McTominay or Lingard who replaces him in the team with Herrera dropping back so things looking good for you.

You’re still capable of beating us without them. You’ll need a big performance from whoever comes in for Martial though.

I never expected Martial to be fit. He had a groin injury earlier in the season - coincidentally just before we played you the first time and he ended up on the bench for that. Guessing the preparations this week would have been in the case that neither of the two would be fit so expecting tactics similar to the Chelsea game.

Changing our midfield 3 is a big blow. Martic has been very good under Ole and our other midfield options are poor. Damn
