I actually don't think he was. He was so surprisingly cool. He was played in midfield and wanted to get on the ball and make things happen. Gave the ball away afew times in central areas but he's a winger that was played out of position due to circumstances.

I think that was a bit of the point with bringing him on. The others were too tired to put pressure on PSG and they would have passed around the ball until the final whistle, but with him United got fresh quick legs.

He is almost a year younger than Dalot actually (March vs December). Also he had a horrible cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him for almost a year. So in terms of development he is almost two years younger that Dalot.
And how is he supposed to ever be «ready» for the first team if he is not given the chance to improve. Part of developing players is to give them a chance even when they are not fully physically or tactically developed.

Spot on, the reason Chong and Greenwood were needed was for their pace. He did good work in defensive stage while always having the legs for a quick break. He waa sloppy, but so was the game at that point.

I've noticed that in the reserves. The lad seems to have good leadership skills

I have said it a few times. Chong will be exceptional but he is a left winger. Not right or anywhere in midfield where they have been trying to play him either to develop other parts of his game or because that’s where our need is. Fans been calling for him but they haven’t watched him live and I have a few times. He loses the ball a lot but will learn.
