Translation: Manchester United scouts at the BBVA to watch 2 Monterrey players

I hope it's Montes and/or J. Gonzalez. Two positions we're in dire need of upgrading.
Sorry I don't think that's actually a scout of ours, but the sporting director of team Necaxa (who Rayados was playing yesterday in the play-offs)

Real Madrid will officially announce the arrival of Eden Hazard after the final of the Europa League, which the Belgian player will play with Chelsea against Arsenal on May 29. For an amount close to 100 M €

I doubt that the price will be this.

Hope we buy Zaha with the Hazard money. He's ready for another shot at a big club.

If we can sign players, that is. :nervous:

Will be interesting to see how he performs in a constantly pressurized situation. He will not be able to lets his performances drop there.

Madrid play joke teams week in week out. Hazard will thrive in La Liga, which is far less “constantly pressurized” than the PL.

I don't think the move will happen. The Real board don't seem to fancy him so won't push the boat out. I don't think that will meld well with United's fee expectations and Mino's and Paul's remuneration expectations.

Not when they can sign Eriksen for half the price. I also fail to see Madrid stumping up. It's much like the De Gea situation. Player wants the move but club don't want it that much.

This will be like replacing Ronaldo with Valencia.

Only worse.
Destroys us nearly every time we play Palace. Seems to do well against most of the big boys. Don't think he'd look out of place in our team.

The actual story: Real Madrid have watched some of Pogba’s recent performances and realise that he’s useless and have to come up with a valid reason to back out of the deal.
Mino Raiola making even Real squirm, Don.

For what its worth, Ballague doesn't seem to think it's going to happen either. It was on the La Liga catch up show from last week which aired on Eleven Sports. They usually crop clips from it and post it on their Twitter if you look back on their feed.

Personally, I'd be equally fine if he stayed or left. A fantastic player, but not someone we can build the team around.

If he wishes to stay, great - we'll focus on building a proper team and have him be the player who can provide the game changing moments of magic, as opposed to the conduit through which the whole team operates. If not, equally fine. We'll more than make our money back and can use it to get a pretty much readymade replacement in Eriksen - who will be available if everything we're hearing about his contract demands are correct.

Oh! feck, you could be onto something there. Where’s PSG when you need ‘em?

Pogba and De Gea wont move without taking a pay cut. And no one will stump up the kind of transfer fee were likely to accept, not this summer anyway. They'll be here next season.

I would have a lot more respect for pogba and de gea if they took a pay cut to get their transfer, would show they weren't all about money and actually cared about football.

HELLO
We've all been frustrated with our inability to sell the shit players on high wages.

But now we're trapping the good ones:drool:

They link themselves with big names then sign the cheaper alternative. Its the modern day Madrid and I wish fans realised this before they laud their every transfer rumour.
Hazard and Eriksen would be a 200m commitment for a few 28 year olds for an already aging side.

Not fecking bothered, just sign him and about 3 others of his quality or face a decade in the wilderness. The only thing we've got is money nowadays, any self respecting world class footballer has the choice of at least three other clubs in England before considering us.

Is a back four of De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Koulibaly, Lindelof and Shaw good enough? Serious question.

Fullbacks not good enough going forward. Width and delivery still a massive problem. All 4 are good players individually though. Shaw and Wan Bissaka combo not good enough in the final phase.
