Koulibaly has been very error prone lately. Still a good defender, but not worth spending VVD money on.

Can we get Jones, Rojo and Bailly fit enough to pass the medical at the buying club?
If we really are ruthless all three are sold. I know we can get some mug to pay 30 million for Bailly and recoup his transfer fee.

Bailly will be easy to shift. Plenty of interest apparently. Not sure how much money Rojo is on, but shifting Jones now after giving him a new contract will be a monumental effort. Would be incredible if we could get this done.

Is a back four of De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Koulibaly, Lindelof and Shaw good enough? Serious question.
No, Shaw's bad enough when it comes to attacking output. I'd happily sacrifice the extra defensive stability AWB would bring for a RB with some potency going forward.

Obviously like most I’d rather spend less on De Ligt. He seems to be his way to Barca so next best option is Toby who would be 50mil then cheaper then Koulibaly, I know he’s 2 years older but he’s still a top class PL proven defender.

Isn't Toby available for 25m? I would rather get him for one or two seasons. Ain't sold on Koulibaly

When will this obsession of ours with young players end? 2 years old is way too young to be playing for any club let alone Manchester United ;) ha ha sorry couldn't resist

And the great news is, he can give us 30+ years of service.

You mean like how Sanchez, Lukaku, and Matic were PL proven?

The state of our fans. Having more respect for our players for leaving the club
Is it just me or is wishing that a player doesn't stay with us or signs for someone else to have a better career just the worst kind of 'support' ever?
Don't get me wrong, I want pogba gone because I think he's a tit and he winds me up to feck, and I couldn't give a shit about his career, I'm just saying it would make me think less harshly of him by not being such a mercenary fecker.

At least its encouraging being linked at all! Was beginning to think we were actually going to ignore the CBs. Midfield still just about more important, along with RB, but I keep going in circles over what is more important. RB, RW, CB, DM and CM are all vital, all as important as each other you can say.

For a CB I think it helps. Yes you could list more PL proven that failed and also name unproven PL players that have worked out. Still think it helps.

I’d rather spend 25mil on Toby then 80mil on Koulibaly.

I really like Koulibaly, it would just be a concern that he'll eat into a lot of the budget, and much as it's bad, I'd say a central defender is the least of our worries just now.

Sell Jones for 10m, Smalling 20m, Darmian 10m, Bailly 20m, Rojo 10m > 70m
Buy Koulibaly, Toby, AWB > 160m
net spent 90m and you have a brand new quality back four. I guess im playing toخ much football manager.:(

I doubt he'll leave us for a pay cut though. Madrid want to reduce the costs this summer because of the refurb and they don't actually think Pogba is worth what we're paying him. He'll still be with us next season and he'll play a blinder to prove to Madrid he is worth it.

Romano saying Conte to manage Inter is pretty much confirmed.
Really? He did an interview in an Italian sports paper last week pretty much saying he was waiting for the Juventus job and he's 60% likely to manage in Italy this year.

Also went on to say Roma are shit and he' never manage a team where he felt he couldn't win things...

And if he does I'll be happy. Although I'll still think he's a tit.

How rich are Inter these days? Id be surprised if Conte joined without promises of some sort of a budget to work with.

Also Icardi, ha. Enjoy taming that one.

Think Allegri is going to stay after all.

Get in
Thats Lukaku sorted hopefully. Would not touch Icardi, rather spend the Lukaku money on someone else. How much do you reckon Lukaku will go for? £40-£45 mil and I'd be happy

Depends if Koulibaly can defend because lindelof cant and shaw no no, needs replacing for me.
Lindelof is a good ball player thats about it.
