De Ligt basically answers that it is nonsense, transfer period hasn't started yet, he still has to play games, will concentrate on transfer (or not) after, and that all the stories in the media is just talk and a created narrative.

Nah, he's just saying most of the shit in the media is made up for clicks, which is true. But maybe there is a small percentage of stories with the right informants. Is it 10%, is it 20%? But more importantly, which are the true stories? Perhaps the true one is that United is currently in the lead.
