If we get these two it'll help massively with for a top three push. I'd be over the moon the have an actual right back and a ball playing CB. He's better in that regard than Koulibaly.
Disagree, Koulibally seems better on the ball to me.

"... Solskjaer is still thought to be in the market for a more experienced right-sided forward. He also wants a right-back, centre-half and ideally two midfielders..."

Just get it done. I guarantee you, once his head is in the right place, he’ll be the best in the world again. He’s 28 for ffs. He’s got about 8 years left at the top.
I don't think he does. His shot stopping is exceptional, but every other aspect of his game is lacking. He's worth keeping around for the superhuman saves alone, but his speed/reflexes will also likely be the first thing to decline as he ages.

We're looking at a keeper with the career trajectory of Casillas, rather than Van Der Sar.

De gea didnt have a good end to the season but he is one of the top keepers in the world why wouldn't we want to keep him ? He's exceptional and would be nearly impossible to replace Imo

You don't want us to give him a new contract?
Absolutely not. And I don’t understand why any United fan would aside from sentimentality.

Which doesn’t make sense either as he would’ve been gone years ago if not for a fax machine malfunction and has now run his contract down for the second time.

I really hope we don’t give De Gea a new contract. He simply doesn’t deserve it. I think his importance is overvalued by many, more commanding and confident goalkeeper would help our defence instantly.

Wanting to keep one of the best keepers is based on sentiments?

When Ronaldo wanted to leave, I bet everyone wanted to keep him and it had nothing to do with sentiments.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mbappe asks for a move soon too.

Utterly pointless club.

Don't they have Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Kimpembe and Dagba already?
To be fair,Silva is getting on abit now,Marquinhos was used as a midfielder last season,Kimpembe's naturally still erratic and Dagba is still a kid and inexperienced.
Going for De Ligt makes sense on their part.

Honestly, De Gea has a lot of weakness like commanding the defense, leave the lines to sweep and be brave on the ball positively, we can't offer him a rise despite being the highest paid goalkeepers in the world. Just same wages or give him a bonus based on the amount of clean sheet he'll get to keep. It remains unclear if he's declining or return to his peak form. If we agreed to give him what he wants before season start and he ends up getting worse next season, he'll be new Sanchez on big wages.

We need to move away from traditional goalkeepers in De Gea. Whether De Gea can improve and adapting to be modern goalkeeping like Ederson, Ter Stegen, etc is on another matter.

Matip staying, VVD & Gomez pair, so we'll need cover and depth. Not seen us linked to many CB's of late, hopefully we can rinse good money out of them for Lovren, but it's Italian clubs so they probably ask for two year loan + Origi for some of their shit, anything to avoid paying.

Again, the PSG thing. Where's the money coming from? Where?

Not a PL club, not far enough in the CL, doesn't generate enough revenue commercially. Spent 400 + million on 2 players. There's only so much they can get away with.
