sometimes those over 30 (well, it used to be the case in SAF's days) had to accept a pay cutAssuming he didn't get a raise - 150-160k per week. 24m pounds deal for 3 seasons.

maybe we should concentrate on just winning the Europa - the only way we ill get into CL next year (which might help with future targets)Competing on all fronts is a concept foreign to this team indeed. The Premier League and returning to the CL should be the main priority
and a lot of them don't do it very wellI hate the sentence "can do a job" with a passion... But this is United at the moment. Everybody just does a job.
This.I simply don't understand. He's a nice guy but he's done very little of consequence for some time and was so often not a starter last season.... seems to say an awful lot about where we are right now and our thoughts on getting desired targets
Sure, but I'm not one to rush to get rid of players who are United through and through. He has been a good servant at the club and as long as he's a squad player I don't mind him being around. If all of a sudden he's starting 20+ games then we have a problem...By then we would have paid him wages for a year which probably equal whatever the transfer fee we will get next year. I would love to know how contract renewals happen at United.

Yea we’ve been holding our breaths for 6 years Juan.
Can you post something positive for once. The people at this club are beyond the point of help.
He might be manager by Christmas.people losing their shit over a depth signing like this really need to get a grip. I realize many fans want to shoot 20 players into the sun and buy 20 new shiny toys, but that's never going to happen.
Mata as a veteran in a depth role is fine. He can start around 10 games, come on in others and be a mentor for the younger players. I fail to see the problem with this decision and certainly don't get why some people see this one as a sign of doom for the club as a whole.

I will when there's something positive to sayCan you post something positive for once.
Ok. I don't see his influence in Martial and Rashford, but you seems pretty confident. As If that’s even a question. He would be somebody any young player would look up to, on and off the pitch.
What is it that you know juan.
It's enough to make you throw up all over the place. Who the f*ck is running our club is purposely sabotaging us. There can be no other explanation for resigning players like Mata, Jones, Young and Rojo. What is it that you know juan.
Time to remove the heart? Looks misplaced with all the negativity. Can you post something positive for once.
