Hahahaha no denying that. Although that's just the more established ones. Some of the kids look promising, Greenwood especially.
Greenwood does look class. Just hope he has some ronaldo in him. So much of the separation at the top level is mental.

Sure this has already been asked a million times, but why wait until the day before we leave on tour to do this?
To try and put United in a situation ... to take a player who doesn’t want to be there or not? They also have little time to change his mind if he doesn’t want to go.

If we allow Pepe to go to Liverpool we may as well forget challenging for the title for the next 3 years. And we should also dismantle our scouting structure. We need a RW. Pepe can replace Pogba's goals. We can pay him more than anyone.

No surprise Pogba wants out. A football career is short and if he has ambitions of winning the CL, which most top players do, then he will have to move. I don’t think you can expect loyalty from him when we are so far from winning the league or CL.

We also don’t want a player whose heart isn’t in it. We’ve got too many disinterested players already, but it needs to be a good price. Certainly more than £120m given what other players are moving for.

There are several Paul feckin Pogba threads. All these discussions are in the wrong place and honestly worse than Chutney’s lower league transfer tweet updates

Really don't see the hype in Pepe to be honest. He could be great, he could come here and be like Depay. Whenever I see him its like he doesn't really have full control over the ball.

If he doesn't want to play in the Europa then he shouldn't of moved to us when we was in fact in the Europa
Yeah but no doubt Woody sold him on the club being ambitious and going places. Now a few years on we're no further on and being linked with Longstaff and Maguire when players like De Ligt, Bale, Griezeman, Rabiot, Rodri, Ndombele, Eriksen, Neymar, etc are available

I fear that the Pogba and Lukaku transfers will drag on right until the end. If they leave at the end of the window I'm sure we won't be able to replace them nor will we have provided for that scenario beforehand as we are run by some complete feckwits.

I'm all for selling pogba. Never been a massive fan of his (I know I'm in the minority). However the biggest worry is the glazers just pocketing that money and the club never reinvesting. We simply cannot go into the new season with a midfield trio of fred matic and mcT.

Would be the beginning of the end for ole. Has to be a plan if they sell pogba surely.

Don't blame him and its the right time to sell. Be a win win for both. We get a tonne of money, which hopefully means we can invest in hard working players with talent, who want to be here.

Bruno, I can imagine, is in the pipeline to replace Pogba if/when he goes. That's why I believe we haven't sealed the deal yet.

Liverpool and Klopp were desperate to keep Coutinho but ended having a more balanced team when he left. Hoping the same happens with Pogba.

We all do. Maybe he should look at his own performance as do why we aren't in the Champions League next season.

There is no chance Real have the money to get Pogba. They have already spent £300m. I can't see how they can spend another £150m on one player.

Except he hasn't. He was on the end of some good assists and provided himself between Dec and June. Then he fluctuated between OK and poor. Take the Barcelona fixtures (any one) or Newcastle with Shelvey running rings round him, or the infamous hands on hips performance against Huddersfield.

Overall he hadsnt been head and shoulders above his peers. When he performed amazingly so did Rashford and so did Matic. They just aren't the brand players (especially Matic) so they won't grab headlines. But their performances in their roles were fecking brilliant too. Stop boning over Pogba like he was consistently great. He wasn't. Far from it.
Nobody said he was consistently great. We just think he wasn't consistently awful like his teammates. I take inconsistent any day over a consistently awful player. And the other players that were our best players are judged to a much lower standard than Pogba. Usually everyone admits to this fact because of wages and transfer fee. And that's fine, but don't bring that into a discussion when we're discussing who objectively our best players are. Shaw's great performances aren't world class performances. Lindelof's great performances aren't world class performances. Those were our 3 best players this season.

I think it's insane to think that a player needs to perform as consistently well as other players who are all playing for well functioning sides. He gets compared to our legends of the past who all played under the best manager with a squad far better than the one we currently have.

Comment section is funny. And we had people here thought he would be better than lukaku(not that lukaku himself has been that great)

Hard to pretend that he is wrong
That depends on if you attribute any blame on him for us not qualifying for the Champions League this season. In that regard he was hardly an innocent bystander so it's a bit rich of him to cry off due to lack of CL football.

Glad he's gone. I don't mind shit players half as much ones who can't be arsed and that's the impression I got with Morata.

With the loan fee from last year, we didn't lose as much on this flop as we could've. Thanks to Man City for buying Rodrigo I guess!

Err... well he's been part of the reason the team isn't in the champions league next season. He wants to leave behind a mess he helped make

He's a scumbag.

Get over yourself he is a footballer doing what's best for his career

He's nothing special, no idea why people are getting so excited by him.

Fee we got for Morata is apparently £48m. Only about £10m less than what we paid for him so not bad. Really frustrating player. Loads of talent and ability but was just so soft both mentally and physically.

Our striker situation looking potentially pretty dire with the transfer ban. Giroud, Batshuayi, and Tammy Abraham. Not exactly scaring anyone.
