We'll bid £80m next summer. It's the Ed Woodward way. Would walk into our team but once again we are so short sighted.

Completely different type of players.Or we want Fernandes instead...

Palace paid 25m for Sakho. He is dreadful.
25m for Rojo is normal. We'll get about 20 if he leaves.. unless his contract is expiring.
I’m aware.Completely different type of players.
Maddison has been playing on the left for them.Errrrr Leicester also have Maddison. Tielmanns could have replaced Herrera and we could still have signed Fernandes for when Pogba inevitably gets his move.
Angel Gomes is a huge talent and deserves his chance over the coming years.Errrrr Leicester also have Maddison. Tielmanns could have replaced Herrera and we could still have signed Fernandes for when Pogba inevitably gets his move.
If Tyrone Mings is worth 25M someone will take a punt on Rojo but 25M is too much to ask, may be a deal can be found for 15M.
The same fans who moan when we sell deadwood for peanuts, seem to be the same ones who laugh when we play hardball and try to get a decent fee.
People have moaned for years that we sell players way too cheap. Club asks for 25m for Rojo and they aren't happy. In a world where fees are bloated this is hardly a massive fee.
We really are going to moan about absolutely everything aren't we?
At the moment, it is hard to find a top class player that wants to play in the Europa league or under Ole. Bale is not my first choice but he would be effective for Ole counter attacking football and briefly solve our right wing problem till we get back in champions league. A loan with the option to buy plus £110m-£120m will be good business for United. It will give us money and a player in exchange. The same way you would be bringing in a player that doesn't want to be here either.
Agreed. I think we could get 15-20 million for him.
Leonardo thinks of Tiemoué Bakayoko. The midfielder, Parisian by birth, comes out of a good season in Milan ... with Leonardo sporing director. Contact also established with Manchester United, very interested, who could lose Matic and Pogba this summer.

I think the issue here is that we should have sold them both 2 years ago and £25m would have been realistic. Instead we expect to get this amount when both Rojo and Darmian hardly played for 2 years. Who is gonna pay that amount now?People have moaned for years that we sell players way too cheap. Club asks for 25m for Rojo and they aren't happy. I don’t think I’d be unhappy with Bakayoko, I watched him at Milan a few times and thought he looked good.
He was very good for Milan after a poor start. I don't think he ever really got a proper chance at Chelsea.I don't think he's good enough for the PL.
Sure, but most of the time it's either overpaying for perceived potential or the player has performed well on loan. I don't remember many outlandish fees for garbage players on 160k pw who haven't played for 2 years. It's just not comparable.Well, players are sold for stupid amounts, good and bad. We should keep up and sell for as much as possible.
