The article says Arsenal and PSG want him too. Definitely legit...

To be honest, I think if we can get him at a decent price, he has the tools their to be a good player, he just needs coached, played to his strengths and a bit of confidence.

He's not a basket I would put all my eggs in, but he does have talent.

Scratch what I said, I didn't realise he was 24 turning 25 in august. He's never going to make it at a top club.

Depending on what Chelsea want for him he could be a really smart buy. All the attributes to succeed in the PL. Unfancied by many because of his time at Chelsea but I watched Milan quite a bit and he really did well there in the second half of the season and was getting back to his Monaco form.

He wouldn't be out of place here tbf. I don't think that Fred, McTominay, Matic or Pereira are better midfielders than him.

If he was so amazing for Milan, why dont they try to buy him? Surely they would have a buy option or would like to buy him now, since i guess Chelsea dont want/need him

With the current state of our midfield he would probably be one of our best players.

If I remember correctly, he was awful at first at Milan and was criticized by the manager. He then really settled in and was one of their better players. Then fell out with the manager again towards the end of the season and doesn't want to go back.

Said in the transfer thread that I think Lamps will give him a second chance to make it here.

What exactly is wrong with the things he's doing in this video? Becasue he's not a 'big name' its cool to dismiss him straight off the bat.
No it's because he was crap for Chelsea, a bubbling mess.

Being racially abused probably also made him question staying too.

Take the "pass" at 0.21, he just fully passes it to the opposition FB, who just fecks it up. Then 0.48, where he just gets in a kicking match, jammily wins it then proceeds to needlessly give it away. All I see in this video is that he is physically a lot better than the opponents he's playing. There's like one pass between the lines.

No thank you. Was made to look good in that Monaco midfield by playing alongside Fabinho. If we end up with him after passing up on Fabinho a few years back, then we've completely lost our marbles.

He's not Luka Modric though is he. He's at his best winning the ball back and carrying it forward, which is exactly what he does in most of that video, multiple times.

His biggest issues when he was here were his first touch and his panicky decision making. Both I belive were down to his confidence being at rock bottom.

He showed that he can be a proper beast when he was at Monaco and there a reason Conte really fancied him.

Thing is, we finally have quality midfield depth at Chelsea so it'll be a struggle for him to break into the side. We now have 7 players competing for 3 positions.
