Yes it's been a shit performance of course, but it's pre season, it doesn't matter. That's why we're playing this team. The point is to get the individual players more minutes for fitness. Nobody actually cares about the result in a pre season friendly, and while you would want to play well, it's more important getting the players up to speed in terms of fitness.

Doesn't really change my point. First time we've gone behind in the whole of preseason, and that apparently means we are absolute shit. If we're going to say that preseason results and performances mean something significant, well, we beat Spurs, whose last competitive game was the Champions League final. And the game isn't over, it's still fairly even.
Those subs prove the youth we were all purring over the past few weeks won't be getting a sniff when season starts.
