I'm amazed people are blaming the club for backing out of a deal because the player doesn't want to come here. Ed's learning faster than the average caftard, incredible!

Never understood the phrase "looks like a briefing" when in reality one shit source makes a claim and like flies to shit, the rest swarm....

A briefing for one wouldnt carry the tag "Exclusive" considering the nature of a briefing.
Ahh wake up man, it's when multiple outlets are reporting it after a really short period of time. It's clearly been fed out through United.

It’s got all the hallmarks of a briefing.

Between himself and his agents demands and justifications for their demands we probably saw a familiar story of a player pushing for a move next summer and us being the ones to take the financial and reputation hit.
This is it. Should be stickied on here.
I don't see why posters are trying to be clever with the i think this is face saving posts as if they're Sherlock Holmes.
Us thinking his heart isn't in a move and he isn't up for it is exactly whats being reported. There doesn't seem to be anytjing to bread between any lines here.
If anything Juve fecked this and the embarrassment is on them

If someone doesn’t want to come then this is the right decision- it just won’t work else. Bit strange as he knows Juve don’t want him but it’s his career.

Hope we don’t sell Lukaku to inter unless they give us the money we want now

To be fair that's not how it happened. Ducker reported it then about 10 mins later everyone else started jumping on.

He don’t want to be here and we can’t blame him.

CL football would have secured this deal though

Probably the right decision, feck having to convince someone to join us. We’re Manchester United, if we have to desperately beg and overpay someone to join us then its not worth it. But if we don’t get Fernandes now, we’re fecked

So why waste the best part of a week chasing?

Dybala's said no so you've beaten him to the punch by saying you pulled out.

Fair play, that's class media briefing.
Nonsense. We've basically admitted we're pulling out because Dybala doesn't want to come unless it's for obscene wages and agent fee, both of which were reported from the off so hardly a spin put in from us. It's hardly a 'oh, we don't want dybala' briefing.

Oh this gonna be great thread to look at prev. pages. Best part now besides changing song, trying to give a props to board lul.

Edit: Oh and if you think that us being CL would make huge difference in this case, you are deluded.

He’s just insecure cos that’s what City do whenever they miss out on a player.

If he doesn't really want to be here, which is something we talked about and some delusionals kept telling us we don't know a thing, then I won't say I'm sad about this. Shame, as he's a top player who would have improved us a lot if he was willing to come, but no point to if he doesn't.

So he's said no. And your briefing to the press is that you "pulled out", not that he's rejected you.

As I said, world class media briefing.

Good thing we know today and not Tuesday so we can put in a last minute effort to get Bruno before Tottenham do.

I’d much rather us turn him down than offer him a ridiculous wage for him to not be happy. Feck him. This is the correct move from the club in my opinion.

Let's get Bruno now.

I see Bruno's name everywhere. I think I'm living under a rock FFS, have never seen him or heard of him before the transfer window. Is he really that talented?

Werent Juve the ones who came up with this scheme originally? I thought it was just us vs Inter Milan butting heads over hashing out a fee for Lukaku? The way it’s been reported it seems like Juve were the instigators and were going to be the main benefactors out of this.

How can you not blame the club, trying to swap a player with days left in the window. It was opportunistic and badly planned. Badly planned as we left it so late to replace a forward, more going in to negotiations with a player who didn't want to come. It's a poor attempt to save face. United are running out of time and again look incompetent in this window.
