I wonder when teams that aren’t City will realise they don’t have to play short out of the back at all times. Just go medium or long.

I know our goal against record says otherwise but we've actually improved in that regard since the Leicester game (Norwich and Wolves create little but were very clinical).

Top 4 will be a big ask this year because we're green as anything right now but we are certainly heading in a very exciting direction.
Getting there but I still think you have a soft core. I think we’re both around the same level but ye do look more exciting in an attacking sense.

I don't see the need if you are 2 up and the other team need to attack. Boot it upfield and let them try and win it and come at you.
Specially when they are so close to the box. I hate it when passing from the back is applied at all costs like that by teams who aren't that great at it

@GifLord seems that there was comic Arsenal defending for Watford's goal, any chance of a gif?

Arsenal here for the taking in open play. Watford just need that bit of quality to go with it. Like that chance which they need to at least hit the target.

Watford had four men around it. I get if its done right, it basically takes half the team out, but they had issues first half with it. And didnt learn and invited it again.
Booted it forward last two times though.

Emery has turned us into a defensive team that can't defend. Two shots on target all game.

Watford should really be getting something out of this, but you can guarantee they’ll miss a bundle of chances then arsenal will counter and win it by 3/4.

These teams are so frustrating.

All they do is inviting pressure close to the box

Shame Welbeck isn’t fit to score the winner from the bench - I mean if Cleverley can score then...

Increasingly annoyed by Emery’s management. Even if we hold on to win it’s been a dire performance.

The Watford player was in the box when Arsenal resumed play. Commentator said VAR should have disallowed the goal since no opponent player is allowed in the 16 yard box at that time?

With a pass like that you deserve to concede though

Watford are not equalising today unless the Arse defence gives them another gift.

Also think VAR isnt used on things like restarts. Although the commentator also said VAR is unavailable (though ive changed channels back and forth since)...

Under a tree.
Is Watford the retirement home for ex United players? They currently have 4 ex players on their books.
Maybe could send Young back there...

Why do people say weird stuff like this when the guy played really well yesterday and frankly we’d be stuffed without him currently?

Get over it

The Arsenal subs killed Watford’s momentum for a bit there, but they’re starting to build it up again now - still expect an Arsenal counter to kill the game.
