Its just another player Arsenal failed to identify and make the most of. They've let go of some quality players over the years, seasoned and hidden gems and failed to properly devote the time and match experience to them. Another which strikes the mind as a young prospect they should not have let go was Carlos Vela. He managed to make an excellent career for himself in La Liga, and given Wenger was known for improving players, if he'd just had the same level of love and care that the dead-end Theo Walcott was given, I have no doubt he'd have been a premier league great for Arsenal.
