Have you just traveled here from an alternate universe? I imagine there must have been a few games per trillion alternate realities in which Pereira deserved MOTM. In this universe, however, he was garbage. And so was Fred.
You've tried to be funny, so I suppose you deserve some credit for effort. It seems totally lost on you the numerous other posters, commentators etc. that are saying the same thing.

Well done. You were the better team. We were nervous and only started playing in the last 10 minutes. Said to my mate yesterday it would be close, and said it would be a draw. Still, if you'd have offered me this exact scenario before our first game, I'd have bitten your hand off.

Yeah if you call parking the bus in the second half and hoping for a counter-attack as decent playing for Manchester United. Ffs.
We’re at rock bottom and Liverpool are the inform team of Europe. What do you want to happen? Honestly

I would love your optimism, but this game still reminded me of what we have played like against Southampton and Newcastle. No attacking plan, hoping for mistakes and defensive lapses by our team.

Our side still looks paper thin as well. Only really martial to call upon and Woodward needs answer serious questions about this.
We had far more intensity than those games in my opinion. We actually looked threatening on breaks though individual mistakes cost us-that is the issue with having several players not REALLY good enough. Yeah we didn’t really look like scoring until we did but it was a lethal break, we were looking to do that until we ran out of legs against a better team

Across the Universe....from Old Trafford.
Yes. Was amazed he didn't bring him on but decided to bring Williams on for a couple of minutes runout. He just sat back and let them attack us. Give Liverpool something else to think about.
The fact most of us feel disappointed with a draw is a good sign.
But we sold ourselves short today.
We need to be fighting for the ball in every match.
We did not give Liverpool time.

Terrible decision to park the bus against a Liverpool side that we’re playing awful and offering no threat.

A point is a good result but puts more pressure on the games against Norwich and Bournemouth which will be tougher because we won’t be able to play those tactics.

We can give out about him all day long and disagree with the tactics used but Ole got it spot on today.

They upped it the 2nd half and with the players we have and the ones we have there is no way we could go toe to toe with them , we would have been ripped to shreds if we tried.

Excellent result given the majority on here were expecting doom and gloom prior to kick off.

Some much better performances from several players. It's a shame we couldn't see it through but a lot of positives.

Are you kidding me? The same bs logic again.

Did you watch the first half with your eyes closed or something? So we can have our players play half-decent when we are 0-0 but have to revert to prime Stoke the moment we take the lead. Is it because our players lose all their ability when we go a goal up?

As for Mourinho, we played like this against a high-flying Liverpool when we won 2-0 and the only reason that was absolved is because we won the game. This sitting back like absolute cowards is horrible to see. You maybe fine with it and can stick to your excuses because it is Ole. I would rather call it as it is.
It's your opinion, it's not "as it is".

Moaning on here about being defensive, after playing the free flowing league champions, is just ludicrous.
If we do it next up v Norwich, then fair enough.

The result is a positive one, all things considered, even if conceding like that is annoying. Liverpool losing their lead at the top a little is always a good bonus.

We looked good value for the 3pts. Liverpool really looked out of ideas, few sniffs here but their back four had the ball more than any other player.

Goal was down the other end and not seen the replay, who was at fault?

Such a weird feeling, but a draw was definitely a fair result and given the feeling I had before the game I would have taken that for sure. Lacked quality in the game to go on and really take control of the game when Liverpool were there for the taking.

There were some really good things today, and tactically we saw something different so props to Ole when credit is due. We really missed that compouse in midfield, Fred was really poor I thought. McTominay solid as always, Pereira was really good, as was Rashford. Defensively, relatively solid, one real mistake and it was punished which is a little frustrating but that's what the top teams do to you.

Just highlights the desperate need for 2 or 3 more top players. Playing the way we played today, with another top CM, Pogba and probably a proper attacking LWB and we could have taken control of the game and scored another. Plenty of positives, but disappointing at the same time.

Yes. If we carry this into the next games, the effort, the fight, I will be happy. If they only do it in this type of game I will be furious. Every game matters, not just the big games.

Liverpool were crap and we should have won. We are incapable of getting the second goal and incapable of getting a clean sheet so frustrating. Hopefully when players back we start to get more wins.

We should not have sat back.

But then again we had no one on the bench that could bring something different.
There’s a difference between being throwned back and sitting back.

We sat back, there’s no doubt about that. Thats a weak small team mentality, I dont care if Liverpool are the better team.

Sitting down so deep in Old Trafford is a freaking embarrassment, Ole should get fired alone for that. So much about the mentality, the ManUtd way, knowing what the club is about and all those empty phrases and he just shit his pants against Liverpool.

I expected the team to keep up what they did in the first half - have some feckin intent. But Ole sent them out to defend in the second half and he didn't make any substitutions till after the 80th min. James was playing as a striker for some periods in this game when we had Martial and especially Greenwood on the bench. This is amateur-level management.

I’m astounded at the moaning going on here post match. Ffs.
We got a point, played decent, give everything yet posters are still going in on the players and manager.
I wonder about people sometimes. They're either not particularly wise, or they have zero understanding of football.

We came in with rubbish form, we have a weak squad, we already had players injured, playing a team with 8/8

Yes we're all disappointed we let it slip late, but most are delighted we even gave ourselves the opportunity to get a win.

The effort in pressing and hard work was always going to kick in late on, just a shame it was a really sloppy goal.

It's a point. Should we be celebrating home draws now?

Sit back all the second half and gave the ball away, totally different team it felt, and only one man to blame for this and he is a coward.

Relegation form. 10 points from 9 games bit the pride and the culture and bla bla bla. Feck off.

They're idiots.Could we have been a little braver and not dropped so deep towards the end?Probably but we're in a bad place at the minute and winning that game would have been big.First team to take points off Liverpool this season. Not bad but i'd have been much happier with the three points.
Not just this season, first for the last 17 games. It was a young team and they did well. Sod the moaners.

Can't for the life of me understand why we were giving Robertson so much time and space on one side of the pitch when we were doing such a good job of closing TAA down on the other side.

The issue is, against the smaller sides they will not try and attack like pool did today. Other than a counter attack, what other attacking game plan did we have?

I want ole to succeed, but it's clear that today was an exception because we got a point against pool. Play like that next week he needs to go.

Feels like a loss, which is pretty incredible considering we drew against the European champions. It was a good performance against a lacklustre Liverpool team.

There weren’t any poor performers this afternoon, I thought Rashford was really good as was Young and McTominay.

Still loads of work to do.

Who is celebrating|? But after giving it a fair goal and leading the previously invincible league champs, with our best two players either not in the squad or semi fit on the bench, yes we can be satisfied with a good effort.
