How do they even recover from that much effort for their next game? They lost it in the worst possible way
And their next game is against a side who hasn't lost away from home in 2019How do they even recover from that much effort for their next game? They lost it in the worst possible way
They are so thin at the back there’s no rest for the weary. I see them leaking goals late due to lack of energy. How do they even recover from that much effort for their next game? They lost it in the worst possible way
If you come charging out of your area like Ederson did, you have to make sure you either get the ball or if you don't, miss the attacker which of course he didn't.Can someone explain the red card? It appeared to be incidental contact between two players going for the ball and trying to avoid contact. What did Ederson do wrong?
He missed the ball and hit the man. Two pretty big mistakes. Can someone explain the red card? It appeared to be incidental contact between two players going for the ball and trying to avoid contact. What did Ederson do wrong?
Interesting. Thanks. I thought they’d take into account the ball was out of play before the contact. Whoever the goal keeper coach is needs to tell them to tone it down. Bravo was ejected the last City match I watched and poor Walker had to see out the game in goal.If you come charging out of your area like Ederson did, you have to make sure you either get the ball or if you don't, miss the attacker which of course he didn't.
Red card all day long.
Thanks. That explains it. It appeared harsh given how light the contact and it was only 12 minutes into the game. Amazing City led for 80 minutes after that.He missed the ball and hit the man. Two pretty big mistakes.
It doesn't matter that he tried not to take him out at the last minute, he hit him at speed while he was running through on goal...no matter the context, that's an instant red.
Aguero was subbed after 10 minutes so he'll be very fresh. Mahrez also off at half time. KDB subbed halfway through second. Jesus was ill so if he recovers their attacking players should have enough to knock a few past Sheffield even if their defence will struggle again. How do they even recover from that much effort for their next game? That coach won back-to-back titles.City's woes are the consequences of a coach that is poor defensively prioritizing the ball playing abilities of GKs and defenders above their natural defensive duties.
When it comes to Denial of an Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity (DOGSO), intent doesn't come into it. The fact is, if Ederson hadn't caught the player, he would have probably got the ball and scored. As the offence took place outside the area, it's a red card. If it had happened inside the area, a penalty would have been awarded and if it was decided that Ederson hadn't made a genuine attempt to play the ball, he would have been sent off as well.Thanks. That explains it. It appeared harsh given how light the contact and it was only 12 minutes into the game. Amazing City led for 80 minutes after that.
I'm concerned that the elapsed time should have any bearing on wether it's a card or not. First minute or last minute should have no bearing on it.Thanks. That explains it. Literally 1 CB is injuredThey are so thin at the back there’s no rest for the weary. I see them leaking goals late due to lack of energy.
And they spent 60m on a backup RBLiterally 1 CB is injured
There was us in 13/14, too, but Moyes. I wonder how we would've done if Fergie had stayed on.They are an embarrassment. How can you destroy a league one minute and then defend it so pitifully and be out of the race by December? Never seen a swing like that since Jose Chelsea
It's the same with the recent influx of Leicester and Liverpool fans. I wonder how many of them will stick around if they fall back on hard times because, y'know, they joined because it's the best place to talk footy!I still don't understand why we've lost so many city fans. They were among the highest posters last season and as many said, they were just here as its the best forum to discuss football. Not to wind anybody up or anything. Funny they just vanished.
Sounds like Donald Duck
We would have come 3rd or 4th I think. Would have sold rooney and surely Alcantara/kroos would have been tempted to work under Fergie? Strangely enough, Fergie was allergic to buying quality midfielders in his later years. There was us in 13/14, too, but Moyes. I wonder how we would've done if Fergie had stayed on.
Maybe people just view the clip and do not care to engage in a thread? I know I do it.Unrelated, but how does a videoclip on Twitter amass almost 5 million views and still only have 800 interactions? Also 5m views in less than 24 hours? Twitter is weird.
It's video from Liverpool fan, those views are from since that Liverpool vs city game.Unrelated, but how does a videoclip on Twitter amass almost 5 million views and still only have 800 interactions? Also 5m views in less than 24 hours? Twitter is weird.
