He gave an interview as if He had never been in the club before. Pretty sure the fans already knew what to expect at this point.
Not watching it but i'm sure it has a few classic Moyes lines in it.

''They tell me West Ham is a football club in east London.''

Talking about being back home?
A Scottish guy who has lived up north for most of his career?
Bizarre.

Where is the depressing classical music on the David Moyes confirmation video?

Big chance they’re going to get relegated? I rather stay with the pellegrini tbh

Has there ever been a less inspiring managerial selection than this? Why don't they just at least TRY someone younger with some fresher, more modern ideas? It is literally almost impossible that they'll do worse than Moyes will, and at least they'd have attempted something different.

They're in a relegation fight. They've hired him to secure PL next season and they'll probably sack him in the summer, to go for someone a bit more progressive.

Why are you talking bollocks?
We have a worse record now than Moyes had with us and worse than Everton often got.
So unless we actually improve it will not be impossible. Just as he might go ahead of Arsenal soon if they keep being midtable quality.

We are not going to finish behind West Ham managed by David fecking Moyes.

I know you're very very anti Ole but come on now. Let's not be silly.

I do not think we will, but you make it sound like things like that never happen. Sheffield was ahead of us before this round and Leicester won the league recently and are ahead of us now. Wolves may get ahead of us too. We are far from Pool and City level right now and got a thin squad in some areas. Our first 11 is very good though.

We are much more capable than West Ham, but has been badly managed for years. If Martial and Rashford gets injured we will barely score any goals with only Greenwood on the bench for those roles.
It is probably you who are more anti Moyes because he was poor for us. Ole has similar record to Moyes though so not sure why you hold him as this amazing manager. I want Ole to do well, but so far we are not apart from in the big games.

From now on nothing will break my spirit. The phrase "Well, at least we didn't hire Moyes twice." will always be there to brighten up my day.

Yeah he did terribly for us. Particular in the league games against City and Pool at home.
Still I think our current squad might work better for a counter attacking defensive style. We got a great midfield for it and lots of pace up front. Although our depth is far worse.
Moyes didn't have a clue in the big games and his record might have improved with our current squad which would have naturally been better to stop other teams and hurt them on the break.
Although our record against the weak side would probably have been worse without Rooney, Persie, Carrick, Valencia, Giggs, Nani etc.

Only getting Fellaini for our midfield was a big problem. He was not the solution and a terrible partner to Carrick.

The job always seemed to big for him, hes just a charisma vacuum. Ole can be a bit of a walking talking cliche at times but at least he doesn't look like hes shitting himself being at such a big club.

Moyes' returning is basically an acceptance of bad governance by the suits who deemed him not fit for purpose just 18 Months back. Is it possible we'll see Fellaini back?

Can anybody else see the flaw in this masterplan?:

"We're an ambitious club!"
*hires David Moyes*
"Unfortunately, David Moyes couldn't match our ambitions."
*sacks David Moyes*
"Christ, we're up Shit Creek...get me David Paddle Moyes!"
*hires David Moyes*

With the new China salary cap being implemented into the Chinese Super League I think its inevitable we'll see Fellaini back in Europe with the PL the likelier destination.

Should be a interesting scuffle between West Ham and Spurs fighting for his signature. :D

I...don’t understand. But okay. Hope they get relegated. I’ve never liked West Ham. Can't wait to see who he signs.

Well those against Ole can't say he's the worst manager in the PL anymore.

His first presser along lines of "All I do is Win...." is this DJ Khaled or Moyes in charge of Hammers??

I think the former would do a better job to be fair...

I will go against the grain and say I think he will do ok. Its like Steve Bruce. Everyone up in arms but they are capable of putting together a well drilled team and they have enough good players to avoid relegation. If they think they will be top ten or chasing fourth then no chance but he should do enough to avoid relegation.

Lets not forget we still finished 7th that season. Did feck all in the cups, beat no top sides in the league. In fact we only won 2-3 games out of 18 against the entire top 10 in the league. And didn't qualify for europe for the first time in i think almost 40 years.

So lets wait until the end of this year shall we to see who's record is better or worse after a full season.
