He's meant to be a massive thunderc*nt in real life.
Yep. Don't have the link handy DVG but there was a thread on Reddit where people were asked what celebrities were most impossible to work for/with and Corden seemed to take the no.1 spot. There was also an AMA with him that went totally wrong when people started confronting him with in some cases their personal stories of dealing with him.

The dislike for James Corden in this thread makes me happy. Can't stand him.

I always liked Ricky but started to find him annoying over the last year or two, but this was great. Him at the Golden Globes is always good though.

Me neither. I've always just knew he was a massive and arrogant bellend!

You can see Corden's mask slip in this exchange with Patrick Sewart. Stewart makes a fool of himself too mind.

Yep, neither comes out of that one well.

Good stuff, I wish someone will come out with this kind of stuff about footballers too.

I want whatever fountain of youth magic J-Lo seems to be sharing with Salma Hayek.

I know JLo has publicly stated she has cut back on the amount of guinness she now drinks. She said on a typical weekend she'd be knocking back about 20 pints, she's now drinking straight vodka with the odd pint or 2 of the black stuff..
Salma has said she no longer eats kebabs with garlic sauce. I didn't realise all the fats in kebabs came from the sauce but there you go.

Although Gervais jokes were pretty funny, tbh.
I take it you're saying Gervais was "pleasing the court"?

I wouldn't put it like that. Sure some remarks are just relatively innocent roasting. But other stuff is a scathing attack on Hollywood's hypocrisy e.g. mentioning Apple's sweatshops, saying that they couldn't wait to work with ISIS, perhaps the remarks about the reward and honours list being fairly monochromatic and the Epstein/Weinstein remarks.

Fat comes from the meat. Sugars and other crap from the sauce (depending on the source of the sauce, of course)

Ricky isn't a TERF, neither are the majority of Women accused of TERM'ism.
I don't believe Gervais is a TERF or transphobe either. He's just made some poorly chosen jokes supposedly making fun of actual transphobes.

I definitely don't agree with the last part though. There are various groups of feminists that make absolutely no secret of being trans-exclusionary. I've even got a flyer from a group in Bristol who were rallying about "biological essentialism" in pretty large numbers. My sister passed similar rally in London from a different group. It's a rising faction within feminism.

Anything that calls out Corden for being the c*nt he is gets my vote.

I also still really like Gervais, which seems to be something that's decreasing as a popular thing these days, and I've no idea why, cause he's the same he was 15 years ago.
Why does everyone hate Corden?

I never used to, but over the years he’s become increasingly insufferable. He then turned that up to 11 for America. A few might dislike him out of jealousy, but fair fecks to him in my opinion. He’s made millions out of being that twat who tries to tag along with your friend group by being over the top. No-one seems to like him secretly but also no-one wants to bring it up.

Never much liked Gervais for his best known stuff. Really rode on Karl Pilkington's coat tails for his podcast fame. But boy can he take a sword to the hypocrisy of Hollywood, to their faces, like no other.

What’s TERF
Women who don't like the idea of penises in their changing rooms, female prisons and women's refuges.

There are radicals on both sides but the term TERF is derogatory, just as truscum is and sissy, ******, trap, shemale etc. To discuss the nuances as an "ally" you need to consider a cross-section of transgender opinions, not just to take the view points of one extreme. Both are just as damaging.

I mean, imagine trying to School Boy George on gender bending... This is what it has come to.

Acknowledgement that biological differences were the reason why traditionally Women were and are repressed is not transphobic. Understanding concerns is compassion, not hate. Maybe I'm different in my way of thinking as a trans Woman.

The Caf is far from ideal to have a level headed discussion about this though and this thread is about Ricky at the Golden Globes.

There's a very thin line that both parties tread and the Police are obliged to investigate. I think we could all agree it's one topic we should avoid like the plague and not to stoke as to not get anybody into trouble.

This gives a few snippets
That was a wonderful read. Corden is an insufferable cnut even before the stories of cuntishness. The arse licky way he goes on turns my fecking stomach. He's on a show with Jamie Redknapp and somehow Redknapp isn't the most punchable person on it.

It’s this contentious issue that if you’re born a man/ woman you can’t suddenly claim otherwise.

The same thing that got J K Rowling a lot of criticism recently
I think the issue is more to do with the biology than anything else. I don't think there is any objection to men wanting to identify as women etc., but in the cold of light of day they are still essentially men.

Gervais did rip Caitlin Jenner a few years back which was hilarious. I felt his monologue last night seemed a bit rushed but it was still very funny. Tina fey and Amy Poehler do some good ones too.

I liked it. It wasn't as scaving or non comical as I was hoping based on the comments though.

He basically just told some jokes. It comes across a bit empty in terms of carrying any actual meaning, since he's criticising celebrities for being celebrities, as a celebrity presenting an awards ceremony for celebrities. Would be like me slagging ewveryone here off for spending their time posting on an internet forum.

Yeah it was funny enough. Used to like Gervais a lot before he went States wide after Extras and has now become bit looney, narcissistic, thinner and less funnier. XFM Fat Ricky used to make fun of people like GQ Thin Ricky on his podcasts.

Lots of corraborated stories on that. Funny thing is that the camera cued to Ray Romano who enjoyed that joke. His son works on that show so he might be clued in to Corden's personality.

Corden did that eating game with Kimmel where you have to answer a question or eat something disgusting. Kimmel asked him "tell me the name of one of the camermen" and Corden ate something instead because obviously a narsasstic prick wouldn't know the name of co-workers he interacts with every day.
