This is how ManUtd fullbacks should be making runs.

I was yelling at the TV for Rashford to play him in, probably not used to having those kinds of runs made by the fullback so never even considered it.Tweet

I find it interesting that almost all of the people criticizing this kid are mostly the same people that are always defending Luke Shaw in his thread. Don't believe me, go check it out. Andersons Dietician is a big Luke Shaw fanboy thus the reason for slating a teenager.Got beat every time they went 1 on 1. Is that doing well now?
nobody is slating him, people are just trying to give an honest opinion without biast. You see people mentioning he kept Traore quiet all game that simply wasn’t true As he was rarely up against Traore and the times they went toe to toe Traore beat him at pretty much everyone of this solo duels.I find it interesting that almost all of the people criticizing this kid are mostly the same people that are always defending Luke Shaw in his thread. This is might work if you are purposely trying to lose.Keep Williams at LB, and stick Shaw into our midfield as CDM, with Fred playing as an 8, and Andreas further forward.
Why are Man Utd fans so weird? If he can't play in his best position, bin him. Fergie really made you think anyone can be turned into something elseKeep Williams at LB, and stick Shaw into our midfield as CDM, with Fred playing as an 8, and Andreas further forward.
Yes, we really should bin him. And Lingard too. Matic too. But then there’s your problem: we have nobody left to play midfield because the rest of our midfielders are injured. So if the club don’t buy a midfielder in January (which they should, except for the fact we are run by incompetents), then someone needs to play in midfield in front of defense. It’s not like I’m hoping for this to happen, but what else are we going to do?Why are Man Utd fans so weird? If he can't play in his best position, bin him. Sure. I have seen enough of Matic to know his legs are gone. Fred is playing every game. Scot and Pogba are injured. So who else is left to play in midfield? Lingard, Mata, and Andreas. So maybe you understand my thinking, as playing Shaw in CDM might be a better alternative than playing Fred as 6, Andreas as 8, and Lingard as 10. We would lose anyway, may as well try a solution instead of doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. This is might work if you are purposely trying to lose.
Agreed. Just saw that clip of him jogging back vs Brigthton. Made my skin crawl.Tweet

Yea this is definitely one of the easiest decisions Ole can make,Shaw should never start another match for us unless there's an injury crisis
Looking at this clip makes me mad. Lazy feckers, they let them pass the ball around with ease.
We have actual midfielders from the academy. I don’t think Shaw will perform any better elsewhere on the pitch.Sure. I have seen enough of Matic to know his legs are gone. Fred is playing every game. Looking at his Physique as of late, I would say he has plenty of hunger, just not for football.Shaw used to be really solid defensively but he doesn't even have that now. Just lacks concentration. I don't know if he has the hunger anymore.
I just don’t think Garner or other midfielders are ready yet to be thrown into the deep end. In any case, it’s never going to happen, as Ole will persist with Fred and Matic, plus one of Lingard Mata, or Andreas for the premier league. We have actual midfielders from the academy. I don’t think Shaw will perform any better elsewhere on the pitch.
Well we had a right winger as a fullback and a left winger as a fullback, our CF was converted into MF (Choccy), Sammy Mc was a striker, who became a MF, Norman Whiteside, too, so it wasn't just Fergie doing it :-)Why are Man Utd fans so weird? someone had to eat Lukuku’s rations.Looking at his Physique as of late, I would say he has plenty of hunger, just not for football.
Perhaps he ate Lukaku and there's a look alike in Italy? It might explain a few things.someone had to eat Lukuku’s rations.
While Williams makes mistakes, sometimes noticeably, but his contribution is also very noticeable. Shaw's mistakes is sometimes not so noticeable to average audience but he does tend to disappear during crucial moment, meanwhile contribute very little during 90min. If we bite the bullet and let Williams stay on, I am sure he will be very good next season. Rumour say Leicester is interested in Shaw, I say swap him for Maddison, all sides win.So far he's taking his chances, when he plays, I don't think he's had a bad game yet, but hes young plenty to improve, but Shaw is probably ahead , but not by alot.
He even crosses better with his left which is weaker foot, than ShawAre people still on the fence about this? Just his mentality is absolutely infectious and brilliant. Tonight I thought he did really well with the turn of pace, dropping the shoulder against defenders who are thinking they have him cornered. And he also makes accurate passes under pressure with his left foot.
He's got loads to learn as any young defender does, but he's looking like a great prospect. So much to like about him.
It's laughable how bad Shaw's crossing is.He even crosses better with his left which is weaker foot, than Shaw
Spot on. Time and time again he would be in space but would only do these half arsed crossed without even looking up or trying to pick up anybody. Pure madness as far as I'm concerned, even AWB tries to aim at someone. It's laughable how bad Shaw's crossing is.
Rashford says Dan James takes his time to really pick out a man when he crosses. Shaw's the opposite. He seems to cross just because that's something he thinks he should be doing, without any thought put into it.
Anyway you can throw me a link to that statement? It's laughable how bad Shaw's crossing is.

Shaw’s technique is half the issue. You can get away without picking a man out if you’re able get enough whip on it to either swing away from the keeper or bounce awkwardly and skid across the box. It’s that sort of delivery that makes defenders and keepers hesitate to meet the ball or miss time it. Obviously tough comparisons but TAA and De Bruyne are text book examples of these deliveries.Spot on. Yeah, it's pretty impressive for a right footed left back. Wonder what he's like from the right. But I do like to have a full back who so easily cuts inside from the left.He even crosses better with his left which is weaker foot, than Shaw
Unfortunately he's on £150,000 p/w; what team that can afford him would take him?Cash in on Shaw now. Whilst he's still at a good age and some teams will take a chance.
