We'll need something of a miracle for our season not to be effectively over by the time he returns.

We're done. Ole's fecked it for us well and properly by playing an unfit player. Sick of his management style, it's just laughable to keep making these terrible desperate mistakes.

Dreadful for England too.

That's what you get for playing players when you know they are injured. Fantastic. It's happened with multiple players this season as well, so damn amateur.

We badly have to sign a player in January if not two.
The club will spin this as an opportunity for Greenwood to get more game time. I'll be hugely surprised if we sign anyone in this window. We'll do that thing where it makes it look like we've been busy chasing players, but ultimately it'll be fruitless.

I am sorry but we sacrificed him for what 3 Rd round FA cup? A competition we won't win anyway. Shocking man management. Shows how out of depth Ole is. I am now leaning towards Ole out camp

Woodward has fecked it by leaving us with a squad that gave us no option but to play him every week. Ole should be out of a job but there’s no way he’s happy with the squad he has because nobody in their right mind would be.

I agree it’s bad on the medical staff, but this happens with all teams all the time. If a team needs someone they will play through injury, this isn’t exclusive to us.

We'll be fielding U16's by the end of the season at this rate.

SHAMBOLIC squad management by the chuckle brothers.

You can't blame Woodward for Ole choosing to play injured players. He's fecked himself and the side. You have to let players get fully fit, and he's constantly played players when they weren't ready. It's unforgivable.

It could just as easily have happened today. It wasn’t exactly a crunching challenge that did him. We have three forwards, one of them 18 years old. We have had no real option but to run Rashford into the ground because of the appalling squad planning. Planning done with saving money being the only concern.

Season rests in the cup competitions. Just need to stay in them somehow until mctominay/pogba/Rashford all return. Will be a struggle until then.

As suspected, nothing to do with luck or curses. It simply shows how incompetent our medical staff is.
And our management/board for leaving us in a position where we can't afford to let a 22 year old miss a single game.

Disgraceful management. Pogba and now Rashford fecked because they're playing when they shouldn't be and to top it off, Ole keeps saying rashers wants to play every game as if it's not his fecking job to tell him no. Ffs.

This. This is the issue for me, he has to be stronger, it's not in the player or the teams long term best interest to keep risking players.

And most importantly, the manager who plays injured player with a high risk of making it worse in a fecking 3rd round FA cup replay.

Injuries are part and parcel, every team has injuries to key players at some point. Remember, Salah was out for one game for Liverpool earlier this season.

Because he knows he can't manage the team good enough without them, he had to force them to play. Selfish man that only thinks about himself and his job.

if true, our medical team need purging for negligence
If true, it's utterly appalling from both the medical department and the manager to let him carry on playing. Nothing that's going on this season is worth putting a young player at such risk.

You're right...we should be rotating our front 3 just like Liverpool does. Oh wait...
He’s continued playing Rashford knowing full well that he has a very serious injury and it’s blown up in his face. It’s terrible terrible squad management. Tantamount to negligence in fact.

Do you think that Klopp would risk one of his front three? Of course he wouldn’t.

He said he had a knock. If you aren't playing with a knock then you aren't playing hard enough. Rashford didn't go out and play injured. He played hurt. There's a big difference. But I get it...everyone wants to blame our coaching/medical staff for everything that happens at the club. Doesn't have anything to do with bad luck and poor play...
He had a single fracture in his back before being brought on vs Wolves in a cup game. That has now escalated to a double fracture.

Do not blame bad luck. Pathetic from our amateur coach.

A short term fix like a Cavani would make lots of sense here but seems he's more keen on likes of Atletico Madrid.

You can't really just go with Martial and Greenwood when you want to go deep in Europa and also have a good FA cup run. Simply too many games and Martial already missed two months this season through injury. Greenwood been managed quite well this season in his development so very risky to burn him out by overplaying.

I don’t see how you can spin this to not make OGS culpable if this is true. It’s so negligent.
