A Pogba and Odegaard swap would be the deal of the summer.
It ain't happening though.

Ferran plays for Valencia. He's ok, not great but still young.
Just saw him yesterday while looking at right wingers on Transfermarkt. He's 19, started about 3/4 of Valencia's games, and plays mostly on the right but sometimes on the left. Makes me wonder which side he was playing when that comment was made.

I may be wrong but I think he played right midfield in Valencia’s weird 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 formation. He doesn’t really play in the same position as our wingers do. He’s right footed and likes to drift in field. So I would assume the wrong side means he should be playing on the left if he drifts in so much.

He was playing RW for the game against Sociedad

Interesting as to why Bout was at the game though: Odergaard surely isn't realistic. Isak and Torres are basically worse versions of Rashford and James.

I think it's more likely we were looking at Oyarzabal who is putting up good numbers, left footed winger.

We can really do with a left sided attacker. We have no one to play there...

First of all, Ferran Torres is nok just ok, he is a massive talent and already a great player (seems like you are not watching Valencia much). Second, yesterday he played on the left to accomodate Soler on the right. According to himself, his manager and youth coach (and the fact he is playing on the right) he is a right winger. He absolutely would fit in our formation and he is just as much out wide as cutting in as he is two footed. If we signed him, I would be over the moon.

Never seen him play, what kind of a player is he would you say? Pacey? Inside forward ala Rashford or more of a traditional winger?

Pacey, technical, great dribbler and cuts in on occasions and on the outside on occasions. He can also stay out wide and function more like a traditional winger. There is no doubt he is a modern forward, but can play as a traditional winger.

That's great to hear. Hope we can jump on him, because it's a real value play.

What a truly catastrophic signing sanchez turned out to be. Even looking at a picture of him is painful

He’s good. He has potential but I wouldn’t say he’s a great player yet.

I didn’t see the Sociedad match however so I was just guessing where he played vs where and how I’ve seen him play before.

Was reported few weeks back that he's closely followed by City (Sane replacement? D Silva?).

"Substantial discount" ??

If they offered 5m pounds for transfer permanent move, I would accept the deal as long as we don't need to be part of his wages anymore. 5m pounds is huge a substantial discount.

Can we be bothered with the Leicester negotiation taking all summer with Maddison?

Whatever costs us less than the salary he is owed between now and the end of his contract would be a good deal as far as I'm concerned I.e paying him 25m to feck off and never come back represents value at this stage given he will earn significantly in excess of that from united in wages between now and the end of his contract.
