Whats the chances of picking up this virus from a pizza take away? I am afraid someone infected will breathe on the pizza and then pass it on to me when i eat the pizza. Should i just cook my own food at home?
Just avoid the 12" Covid special with free Corona beer

I would personally, fast food is bad enough but with the added potential of being infected it's too much of a risk.

Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
They can't now. It all stops tomorrow.
I'm looking now, it seems that it won't be. Her bosses are saying they are still open as they can work 2m apart.

Currently it looks like building sites will still be open too.

And the government site currently says still travel to and from work if you can't possibly work from home, but feck knows if that's updated yet...

We should've been told what the punishment will be and how it will be enforced. Are police going to patrol the streets and stop the odd car/walker?

It's only those who can't work from home I think. That and essential workers.

I have no idea why these measures weren't put in place weeks ago. The faffing around has been ridiculous. We all knew it was coming to this anyway. It would've been nice if the government were proactive.

Definitely. Was looking to see if dog walking was included and saw a bunch of people on social media saying they'll still walk the dog two to six times a day. Some quotes:
I'm curious, i cycle regularly and even i'm confused as to what constitutes once per day....a 6hr bike ride? So many loopholes i can find already.

Apparently he’s quite vulnerable. When his neighbour kicked the shit out of him a few years ago they had to remove some of his lung. You just hate to see it, he’s such a positive force in American politics.

That's what I'm saying. Already people in here are saying all but essential, there's so much confusion right now.

So basically, for example, builders will still be going in.
That's the problem, it's too vague. My friend works for British Steel and has no idea wheter it applies to him or not.

Building sites will be closed surely.

Hopefully ireland does the same although the place was a ghostland today when i went out shopping for food. Aldi was practically empty.
The NPHET are meeting tomorrow and say all measures will be considered. It may be that they recommend immediately implementing similar measures but I'd be surprised, especially given the way Varadkar was playing down talk of a lockdown earlier.

The reality is that we're in quite a different place to the UK in terms of our strategy in dealing with the virus, so it would hardly be surprising if we don't take similar action right now.

Way I see it is you can't win either way.
Going to the supermarkets or even getting a home delivery still carries the risk of transmission.

Didnt they announce that all mortgages/rent being suspended and that the Govt are covering upto £2,500 a month? The package seemed to be a pretty good one.
That is for employed workers only. Self-employed still left in the dark. Assuming its taking longer to sort something due to the increased complexities.

We are sort of in a partial lockdown. Places were empty today. Funny there was a que on mcdonalds before it closes.

I have to move out of rented accommodation this weekend to a new place. I assume I’ll be allowed to do that..I hope taxis are still available...

Apparently it's been rounded to one hour of brisk exercise but can't remember him saying that.

Anyone know what OAPs can do about getting shopping if they can’t get deliveries? Tesco cancelled the last one on my parent in-laws. They are 73 and 81 ffs

I am going to get a max one delivery per month and I am going to wipe it all down in the porch before I bring it in. Cardboard can stay outside

It's not. You will get in trouble if you are in groups that are not your household.
It’s the right decision and there’s not really much else to do without going full dystopian movie. Construction workers need to be told to stop working though.

I just see there still being a decent loophole for a lot of people if they so wish to abuse it, especially outside of cities where nothing will really change aside from big groups in parks perhaps.
