Just finally got round to playing the demo.

Wow.

I doubt I'll be seen outside for a while come April 10th onwards. Brings back all the magic of playing FFVII for that first time as a kid. They've done an amazing job and I really can't wait.

I did notice that, but figured it was just me being needlessly confused. The equilibrium when you start moving feels a bit off. It also felt too close during the boss fight at times, to the point I couldn't quite see what was happening. Probably just needs a slight tweak.

You can set camera distance for both battles and non-battles. I found switching to the furthest zoom helped a ton on that battle.

You know I never even looked in the options. It just didn't seem like the kind of game that would have an adjustable camera. Cheers, I'll adjust it when I get the full game.

Me neither, I was complaining about the same thing on a discord server and someone was like "dude, just zoom out". It doesn't go out awful far but enough to make a difference.

So if you ordered on Amazon you might get lucky and finish it before anyone else even gets it, and if you ordered through a local store that is now closed you might be completely screwed?

I already made the decision to go digital; they should do us a solid and release that early too. I know it’s not that simple, but a man can dream.

Simplygames and a few other UK stores started sending out their orders today. No word on if Game are going to, they are still saying the 9th.

I pre-ordered, which I never do, I usually always wait for reviews and I'm not sure it'll be that good, nor do I think it'll be a very long game and in any way worth paying for full price for. But.. it's FFVII so I just gotta.. plus stock seems low.

Game have now said they are processing online orders. Which the wording does not explicitly say sending, people are assuming they are being sent out anyway. So people could be playing it as early as tomorrow in the UK. Mental after all these years. I ordered the deluxe edition off Game the other day with next day DPD delivery, so will see how that goes. I'm not in a huge hurry anyway with Resident Evil 3 unlocking tomorrow night.

See I think people are getting a bit carried away. I'm seeing a lot of people online saying they got an email saying theirs is being packed by Game. I got one too, there's a line that no one seems to be quoting "Will be despatched the day before release."

The Don Corneo scenes and some of the shots in recent trailers lead me to believe they've re-assessed some things. Now I think about it, I can't recall hearing her speak in any of the trailers.

My deluxe edition came in the post today. Won’t be playing it for a bit as red dead 2 is taking forever but got to say that the deluxe edition is really tidy, it’s got a nice art book and steel case as well as a soundtrack

Spoilt for choice.

If I was in your gaming shoes I would go for the shorter game first. So,RE3,Doom and FF7.
FF7 seems like quite time consuming game.
