I'm fairly sure you're just trolling at this point.

But if you're not and you really are this negative about anything United related, then the mods might as well make you a full member now, as you'll fit in perfectly.
Great addition to the doomsquad

Shock, he stood out at Arsenal because there options were so crap, however I can't blame him for leaving that club where mediocrity is celebrated, i can see him head to MLS eventually, however maybe one last stint at a European club.
You make it sound like he’s close to retiring
He’d have his pick of British clubs if he was to return

It's been 3-4 months since the 'it's a year away' talk started. Does anyone actually know anything? Recent talk from CDC and WHO would suggest not.
I haven't seen anything to suggest the timeline would change from 12-18 months that was bandied originally. Lots of companies will tout their "working" on a vaccine, but from design, to testing, to approval to mass manufacture it's a long time.

You make it sound like he's De Bruyne ...

You're having a laugh if you think he's getting in either a City,Pool,United,Chelsea team, maybe Spurs at a push.

He's 30 this year and been plagued with injuries throughout his career, my comment was hardly unfair or over the top, I could see him in Europe for another few years before he gets a decent offer by some MLS Club.

He’s a solid squad player. Are you saying he couldn’t replace Lallana at Liverpool?

I’m not sure what other team is going to pay him anywhere near 400k, even half that would be a push with his injury record.

Once again, I'd just to thank Everton for taking the bullet for us on this one - they have more than justified that extra money we gave them for Fellaini; thank you Everton! :)

C’mon lad that’s poor
Just noticed Maddison is from Coventry and was playing golf today.

At first I was thinking yeah I was in a sauna with Lady Gaga and she told me Inter Milan had agreed a permanent deal for Alexis Sanchez.

Now I reckon he possibly did see these guys and maybe did say he had signed for United. Probably taking the piss though. I don’t think players genuinely let stuff like this slip.

I'm not saying that at all, i think it's obvious i wasn't insinuating his position as a squad player, with his wage demands whichever club goes for him want's him as a starter and with him having 3-4 years at best left of "elite" football he will want to be playing most weeks, I could see Conte and his weird fetish of ex premier league players try and snap him up., actually could be a good fit.

I cant remember one standout game or moment this guy had for us. Not one.

Some of our worst signings had atleast one game where they showed abit of potential but not this guy.

So true, but I have to admit I thought he was going to be an absolutely perfect fit for us .

From Maddison himself at a golf course in Coventry of all places!
Well you would be the ITK of the summer if this came to anything so I will reserve judgement.

Anyone else worry that Grealish could end up not fulfilling his talent and go like Morrison or is that just a completely ridiculous thought.

Not really.. Not even considering his supposed crazy wages.

He isnt that good.. None of the top sides in the premier league would want him. Arsenal are probably the only "big" side that would consider starting him.
Actually, he might get into the spurs XI.. but there is no way that deal happens.

I would come down on this side of the fence too. He had a few hot streaks and is a decent player, but at his age, with that injury record and on a high wage, I would be very disappointed with him as a midfield signing this summer.

Good luck to Juventus offloading him and his 400,000 a week salary. I reckon he digs his heels in and stays put. I'd take him on a season loan any day

I saw an Italian football fan on this site rubbishing this alleged salary and saying it was much lower in reality. Is there any confirmation of this at all?

Worrying there is a lack of targeting a CB with pace to partner Maguire and still nothing at all on a proper DM which we badly need.

Article certainly suggests that only Sancho will be signed this summer unless Pogba leaves.

It's not worrying is it? What CB is available right now for the right price that's actually a significant upgrade on Lindelof and Baily? The fact we've been linked with AMs alot Is also not surprising. After Bruno our AM options are bad.

Most fans cannot put it through their mind that a player might not have Man Utd carved on their hearts and actually like another team more.

For them it's all about Woodward, Ole or whoever else, not doing their job. Nothing more, nothing less.
This. A lot of foreign players and some British players see Madrid, Barca, Juve, Munich as the pinnacle as they generally win the big trophies every year. Even PSG have started to have a 'pull'. Some come for the latest top team manager or money as well. City Chelsea and Liverpool for example. London is a big draw as well. Utd to a 18-24 year old isnt as big a pull as it once was, hence we have had to pay top dollar as well. Hopefully by being successful we get that aura back where the name itself entices the best.

Yeah, foreign players gets a huge tax discount in Italy. As it is normal that football clubs pay taxes for the player, the Italian clubs can basically offer lower wages than in England ,while the player actually get more wages in his pockets.

For example, Juventus expenses for Ramsay which earn 400.000 a week could be say 500.000, while if he played in PL the expenses for the club would be 700.000 .

On a side note Juve also likes to sign players that are running out of contract, and thereby can offer more wages as they dont need to pay anything else. From an accounting view thats also more beneficial than paying a large sum up front afaik.
