Good morning guys!

So, I was on another website discussing who is the female GOAT and when I said Cyborg (My point being that Cyborg didn't lose from 2005 until 2018) I started hearing:

'' Amanda beat Ronda Miesha Valentina De Randamie, Holly and Cyborg herself in barely a minute ''

Alright, I know that's a impressive record, but let's break it down:

De Randamie literally gave her belt away because she didn't want to fight Cyborg. That's what most fans thought anyway.

Ronda, she would always fight Cyborg throught the media, but was never willing to meet her at a catchweight, instead trying to force her into what would be a very unhealthy weight cut.

Miesha, she was a very good fighter, but don't think most fans would call her world class. Most likely Cyborg would've beaten her too.

Holly, yeah, that was impressive, but Cyborg beat her first.

Valentina, the reason people want to see the trilogy is because they think they're 1-1. Not like Nunes dominated her the two fights.

And yeah, she finished Cyborg when they fought, but still, when you take into consideration the points I made, and the number of years Cyborg went without losing...

Amanda has a good case, but it's still a very close discussion.
There's little controversy that Nunes is the greatest of all time (so far). She defeated every prominent fighter there is and is a champ champ - and unlike Cyborg who spent much of her time outside the UFC, Nunes' domination came in the biggest MMA league in the world, which no less involved beating Cyborg along the way..

Hmmm. That's a whole lot of ifs and buts to argue for things Cyborg might have done but Amanda actually did. Then you have Nunes beating Cyborg for good measure, in less than a minute.

Regarding the bold, the really telling thing is that for a lot of people the toughest match up available for Nunes is someone she's already beaten twice before.

Really don't think it's all that close between Nunes and Cyborg.
And to add to this, Valentina is easily the second best, so it's a bit strange to argue in favor of Cyborg. I could entertain a few ifs and buts in a conversation about Valentina but there is one thing about Amanda Nunes, she is probably the better wrestler too and no one really want to test her because if/when she ends up on top, good luck.

Cyborg is powerful and she is a very good striker but the other two are more technical and smarter fighters.

I’m kinda in the Valentina is the best female fighter there is mainly because I think she was robbed and put a masterclass on Vs Nunes. Nunes barely touched her but just walked forward like an angry bull getting peppered with shots and basically won the fight because some numpties can’t appreciate a great counter striker fighting off the back foot.

Nunes now however has put on a lot of muscle and weight so I don’t think there will be a 3rd fight. Heck I’d even say Joanna was a better fighter and has more claim to the title of GOAT than Nunes.

On McNuggets, Dana has previously said He Conor had offered to step in for a fight but Dana turned it down becuase there wasn’t enough time to get the marketing and stuff done. Now Conor is right, why risk a title shot against Kahbib by taking on a very dangerous Ferguson with very little notice. Fair enough if he stepped up to 170 late notice and was like Usman let’s go, if he loses that it’s to be expected really he’s gone up in weight and taken a late fight. Lose that it doesn’t effect his standing in the division or his name.

Step in lose to Ferguson then he can kiss that Kahbib shot goodbye because let’s be honest after Gaetjhe it’ll be Conor taking on the winner Unless he wants another tune up fight.

Thats just smart buisness. Guys like Gaetjhe and that need to take the risk to put them in positions to get title shots.

Well, yeah... I know if I want to sell this Cyborg greatest narrative I got plenty of thinking to do. And that's without mentioning her PED use... just thought it was worth giving it a try.

I'm kinda shocked the UFC actually released her from contract.

Conor is in a tough position. People don't believe in him beating the champion and due to his name value, he has very little to gain by fighting contenders. He also probably can't make the cut down to 145 anymore and stands next to no chance of beating top welterweights. I can see why the possibility of fighting Silva got him excited.

I think Valentina will fight for longer than Nunes, so maybe longevity will give her the 1st spot regardless of the losses.

Everybody expects her to beat everyone in her division with ease so no amount of defenses will help her. Also, even if she were to become champ-champ by defeating the BW champ, it's also another bunch of tin cans that will be discarded and won't really elevate her name. Holm has almost 40 years old and she still the number 2 ranked. GdR is 35 years old and who knows her? Nevermind the rest... she need big names.

If she can go down to 115 as well, and win the 3 belts. Then yeah it's possible just by the sheer size of the accomplishment.

Aren't there any girls outside of UFC in her division who they could sign ?

What the story behind this, who is it?
What George said. I posted in here since there appear to be a few MMA moves involved (the guy who won tagged a couple of MMA fighters asking for a critique of his ground and pound).

Good top control for sure. And even though he punched some innocent chairs in the process, judging by the other guy's face, his GnP was effective. Made him quit, and hopefully rethink his life.

ps. Yet to see a fight video where the one wearing flip flop sandals wins.

Nice sprawl towards the end there.

Interesting the way he gets the video footage he’s looking for yet somehow misses the bit where the other guy says the n-word. Funny that.

The guy who got creamed was a bit of a mouthy aggressive tit but the other guy has obviously trained how to fight, initiated the confrontation, threw the first punch, beat the shit out of a much older, weaker, out of shape guy and then bragged about it on social media.

To conclude, I see two assholes in this video.

They throw your balance off.

A classic of the genre.

To his credit, this guy realises the error of his ways and flicks them off with a glorious soft shoe shuffle but the damage had already been done and the end was inevitable.

I concur, although you can forgive the younger guy for reacting at the other guy spit shouting in his face. I can’t make out what finally makes him react, but if it’s a slur, then totally understandable.

I didnt see the fight. Was the cornerman Trevor Whittman? And it’s hard to tell from Twitter, but who is coming off worse the fighter or the cornerman?
