You have a very simplistic way of watching football by looking at a table and seeing “hmm Juve are in first so they MUST be far superior then anyone else”
actually, I do have very simplistic way of watching football because it actually includes, you know, watching games. and unfortunately for you, I bet a lot so I actually watch them fairly often for someone who's not Serie A/Juventus fan; about 15-18 games this season I would say. as for Barca, I watch them even more, in fact I watch them whenever it doesn't clash with United purely because of Messi. you on the other hand don't watch them at all and it's that obvious when I see how you talk about players that are notorious for underperforming for them. for example, the last thing you talk about when you single out players like Griezmann or Arthur are good performances. you would know that if you were trully watching them.

as for Juventus, they are neither better, neither worse than Barca. I consider them to be in better position regarding fitness and confidence at the moment, but that's it. they have their flaws just like Barca have and just like any other team out there, and as I already wrote 2 years ago, I consider both teams to be behind Liverpool and City on their day. everyone else are pretty much in the same bracket. what you're doing is trying to make it look like Barcelona would be huge favorites if they were to play each other, something that makes no sense at all and you know it. I get it - "the narrative", and I think most of us neutrals here also understand why you're doing it, but this thread isn't a fan page and it's also isn't reserved for underage Ronaldo fanboys only. it's a thread just like every other and everything here is open for debate, so don't expect everyone to remain silent on every bullshit you're trying to sell here.

Those players have been poor for Barca but as bad as they have been they have been "better" then anything Juve has in there team.

Did you watch the game today?

It just shows how weak the Serie A actually is
When one of the worst Juve teams fromt the last 10 years will win the scudetto then you know the league is utter, utter shite.

Even Juve dont know how they are first. They have been the third best team in the league this season.

The luck only lasts for so long before the results start catching up as this end to the season has shown.

Any other season playing like this and they would have 10 less points.

Inter and Lazio especially have themselves to blame since the season resumed play. They should be kicking themselves.

It's not just luck it's the other teams that shit their bed every time there's a chance to finally win the scudetto. Roma, Napoli these two teams are absolute shithouses - the equivalent of Arsenal when it comes to competing for trophies with both Milan clubs being a no show despite spending over 500million € each in the last 4 years.

If Juve had any proper competitors they would have never won the league under Sarri.

Inter and Lazio imploded as the season went on and Atlanta, despite being great offensive team, aren't a big challenge up front unfortunately.

Its insane, I can think of 5 games off the top of my head where they should of lost but freaks of nature saved them.

Just Napoli in the beginning of the season and Atalanta last week they should of lost.

They quit literally should be in third place.

If Sarri is staying, Ronaldo should leave if he wants a chance at maximizing his honors.

Sarri is unbelievably inflexible and rigid and has taken any creativity or freedom away from players who should be having fun with a team like Udinese.

Juventus are daft to stick with him and even dafter if they bring in the likes of Jorginho to placate him.

Juve need to bring in a winger/attacking midfielder to play next to Dybala and Ronaldo (De Ligt has scored more goals this season than Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa in the past two seasons combined) on top of a great midfielder, a striker to replace Higuain and one or even two new fullbacks. I don't believe at all they'll fix all the faults in the squad in one summer, they're way too far behind the best teams in Europe.

If they can get Allegri back or Pochettino then it would be a good decision to change but Sarri is not at fault for what's going on at Juve. From their squad of 3/4 years ago only Dybala is still a top class player, every single one out of the rest of the squad has declined significantly with age.

Juve need to rebuild 2/3 of their team. Only CR7, Dybala, De Ligt and sometimes Bonucci are on par with the level they should have. I don't even know what they have planned for Arthur because i don't see him fitting there.

Sadly he won't be winning the leagues top scorer after Immobile hat trick but what an absolute monster of a season.

46 goals now for the season. Shame he could not put his penalty away tonight.

He’d be scoring 40 league goals easily if he had more quality service. Nevertheless, he should have probably had at least one more goal today with the penalty. Now it’s unlikely he catches Immobile with 2 games left as Juve would rather rest him for the CL game against Lyon in 2 weeks as he’s pretty much played 90mins every game since the restart. Don’t even know how he manages it at his age.

Worst Juve team since 10/11 when they finished in 7th place. Attack has no substance or creativity either.

Shambolic team. I would love to know how the hell this man has managed to score as much as he has.

Will take a herculean performance to knock out Lyon because If they meet Man City they will get destroyed.

A lot easier when you have close to 15 penalties.

That's the beauty about being a CR7 fan (Messi's fans are the same), when he's the top scorer in the best team in the world, he's amazing. When he's not but scores 30+ goals, he's still amazing because it's the team's fault if he can't score more (we could remind them he's also part of the team).

Zlatan showed up in a terrible Milan team and actually helped them play significantly better,, he's 39.

Maybe if the opponents didn't foul him in the box so often he wouldn't have as many penalties to score and he could score more open play goals.

Or maybe he should start missing them more often given these days players get more criticized for scoring penalties than for missing them.

Nice try, if only that was true. Do you know how many pens he provoked himself? Apparently, 2. 2 out of 12 . Dybala got at least 4 or 5 of them.Too bad some people are checking instead of believing anything you might use to make your point.

Maybe you should check more carefully before accusing people of lying purposefully. Interesting you say he won 2 out of 12 penalties when Juve have 14 in the league alone.

He won 5 penalties this season. 2 against Milan, 1 against Lecce, 1 against Genoa and 1 against Lazio. Over 100 penalties won in his career.

Maybe if other players provoked fouls in the box as often as him they'd have more penalties to score.

Of the 13 penalties Ronaldo has taken in Serie A this season, he was fouled for just TWO of them, TWO.

He has stat padded, nothing more. If Sassuolo players won penalties as much as Juve players did, Francesco Caputo would have over 30 goals as the main taker too. Doesn't seem so special anymore, right?

If Francesco Caputo was 35 and had 735 career goals then it would seem special I think.

Where do you get that from? My stats can be wrong but transfermarkt says he was involved in 2 of the penalties he scored. And considering I think he only missed 1 in Serie A, but shot all the rest that would mean he was involved in 3. Again, my stats can be wrong and I appologies if they are.

Also, Immobile also got a lot of pens, and he scored 35 goals. It strange how having 10+ pens in a season can turn an average to good striker into a record seeking machine.

Quaglialera was 36 last season and scored 19 open play goals. Ronaldo currently has 19 too. Let's not pretend like he has done something no one has ever done.

If you think Francesco Caputo would pass 15 goals if he played for this Juventus team then I need some of the weed you're smoking nevermind pass 30.

Statpadding? 63 goals for Juventus, only 4 of them when Juve had a 2 goal lead and 1 of them with a 2+ goal lead. Should score the 4-0 and 5-0 goals instead like all the other players who are apparently better than Ronaldo (Neymar, De Bruyne, Lewandowski, Sterling, etc.) but don't get called out for statpadding ever because they haven't had 1/100th of the success he's had and as a result don't have 1/100th of the amount of bitter experts criticizing them for every step they take.

Them facing City and then being completely and utterly outclassed will at least depict to the world just how poor this Juve side is. And I don't think it's a coaching issue. The players are just genuinely garbage. They played similarly under Allegri but were more stable at the back.
