So much for social distancing based on that video

If it does come out that he did something he shouldn't he needs to be stripped of the captaincy, I'd give it to Bruno he's one of the few of our players that actually shows some leadership/ fight

Of course, there are drunk idiots from all countries. but English travelers are notorious. If you every been to one of the popular tourist destinations in Spain or Greece, you know what i'm talking about.
Yeah parts of where it’s 50p a drink and they’re enticing young people to get hammered. Not surprising really,

Why do footballers even go to theses places where running into other drunk ‘lads’ is likely. I’d be in some ultra luxury private location on some far away island. If he has hit an officer there could be some big repercussions for him.

Is this enough to terminate Harrys contract if United wanted to? (theoretical question)
I believe so yes.

Friend of mine got the can for going out drinking wearing their companies logo in a pub. They ended up having a sing-song and got brought into office Monday morning for "damaging reputation of company".

Imagine some similar reasoning could be used here if they wanted to.

Some in the Greek law enforcement are not the friendliest bunch to be honest. And in this current climate how do you 100% know what the police are saying is true?

I would wait for all the facts before i would jump to any conclusion about captaincy and so on.

I'd like to think, if he's proven to have done something bad, that Ole won't hesitate to sort him out- he handled the infamous J Lingz Beans video well and to be fair to both we haven't seen such a video since

What the hell.. Is the players even allowed to travel to other countries during this short break?

Its very moronic of him going to Greece in the first place.
Its even more stupid going to a party and dont care about social distancing. ( Look at the video )

If its true that he hit an officer plus all of the above... I dont have words

Getting arrested in Mykonos means you are thick not tough.
I hope he doesn't choose to defend himself in court.
No disagreements there. It's stupid behaviour no doubt aided by a good bit of alcohol. I don't condone violence.

But with that said half of our squad would be hiding under a table. I'd take a CB up for a battle but stupid with drink in him over a softy anyday. I heard a story about Lindelof recently that made me cringe. We need some fighters in the team. Almost all great teams have at least a couple of them.

Our greatest captain Roy used to be in fights every weekend when he was in his 20s. If he wasn't minded in Cork he could have been locked up 20 times.

Paul Pogba changes his hairstyle or uploads a video of himself dancing and its " Sell him !" and "He needs to focus on his football and stop with the distractions !"
Club captain gets arrested overseas for allegedly hitting a police officer and it's all fun and jokes in here

Far greater density of gowl Englishmen abroad here, let's be honest.

Own it.
Yeah chavs give others bad name. Where’s that place that they all like to go to is it Costa Del Sol or whatever. Avoid places like that at all costs.
There are plenty of Brits that are well behaved and very friendly to everyone in 100’s of destinations across Europe.

He was the only one willing to call him on bad defending. Very good leadership, if he isnt called out on it he has no incentive to improve.
I wonder what your reaction would be if Lindelof marched the length of the pitch and berated the strikers when they missed clear cut chances. I'm sure you'd call that 'very good leadership.'

If he's hit a cop he'll probably get knighted if anything taking 2020 into consideration

Doesn't seem like anything too dramatic and he will very likely escape any jail time, but if this is used to take the armband away and make Bruno the captain instead - I wholeheartedly welcome it. Bruno is 10x a leader than Maguire will ever be

It just highlights again the need for someone with pace to partner him. They could have raced in quickly and whizzed him away from the aforementioned trouble.

This guy becoming Man United captain after a few months at the club is a joke in itself. Give it to Rashford or Pogba.

Even if it's serious, I'm sure he'll get away with it because money and British diplomatic clout...

I would be shocked if anything serious came out of it but it just goes to show that having 'lads' in the team is not necessarily the right approach. If there ever was a sniff of Pogba being involved in anything similar, he'd be lambasted but I bet this doesn't even get mentioned.

I guess most of them come from a place where they're used to these places, as opposed to luxury. Most footballers are from humble beginnings.

If Lindelof were a captain it would be his job to do so. Just like it is Maguire's job, but he never does it. Which is part of the reason we lose games when players dont feel motivated enough

Yep, 100% correct.

We have same issue in Ireland.

Sub-culture of loud chavs/Travellers going over wrecking spots and giving us a bad name when the majority of people are grand.

You'd love to just geld the cnuts.

Bruno does not need to be captain, he can be a leader on the field. We need leaders, but we need one captain. That can still be Maguire.
There is a reason why Maguire is captain, and Ole made it clear. I want him to apologize to his team mates, but I don't want him to lose captaincy.
Use that fire against the opposition.
