Haven't read this thread so can't gauge the responses.

But I couldn't give a shite about this. If anything it makes me like Maguire more. We need a few tough lads in the team. Especially at CB.

Just using him as an example because he was a captain that didn't talk so much... he probably wasn't the best example but I'm sure there have been others who had much bigger impacts on their teams and were less vocal.

Just saying there are different ways to lead a team. You can be vocal as hell, lead by example, both, or anything else that helps inspire the team.
Sure. Valencia was not a good example of how a captain though!

Yeah, resisting arrest makes you really tough.

I hope our captain stages a dirty protest until we sign some fecking players.
Manchester United are refusing to pay Maguire's bail in one lump sum. They are proposing to pay half up front, and spread the rest across five years in equal annual payments. The prosecutor's fee also appears to be a sticking point.

Maguire appeared happy to stay there for 1 year as well and not submitted an official appeal request.

I heard the fight ended when Wan Bissaka came out of nowhere and tackled three of them

Jesus..

I’m no English man but I’m pretty sure every single country has a fair share of people who don’t behave.
Of course, there are drunk idiots from all countries. but English travelers are notorious. If you every been to one of the popular tourist destinations in Spain or Greece, you know what i'm talking about.

Was on an little island of Šolta for a vacation. There were some young English guys in a bar. They nearly got into a fight over who's the youngest of them there.

English people are by far the most cretinous people abroad. It’s just a fact.

Why can't you Englishmen behave once you leave your Island?
It's difficult to follow the rules of some flea-bitten, backwater hole when you're used to the being surrounded by gods favourite children. You'd understand if you were as superior as we are.

We need to hear the context before any conclusions can be made. I doubt he was in the middle of a ruck throwing punches at coppers so lets wait for the details to come out before he gets hammered for this.

Of course every country has idiots. However I lived in Malaga for a few years and I can confirm that the absolute majority of people who don't behave or behave like pigs were usually brits. They seem to lose all the brain cells once they get a few drinks.

You're going to get slated for this but you're completely right.

There's a reason for the reputation.

A lot of it, in my experience, stems from very prevalent cocaine usage.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
YOU ARE NOW ABOUT TO WITNESS THE STRENGTH OF GREEK KNOWLEDGE...

feck the Greek Police coming straight from the Greek Med'
A young captain got it bad cuz I'm a Red...

And not the other colours so Police think - they have the authority to say that it's a penalty...

feck that shit cuz ain't the one - for a Greek Motherfecker with a badge and a gun - to be beatin' on, and thrown in jail
Ed Woodward will bail me out and claim he made another sale

feckin' with me cuz I'm a rich Manc red - with a little bit o' gold and a slab-head
Searchin my club, lookin' for the product - claimin' Rio Ferdinand was doin' narcotics...

You'd rather see, me give a pen
Than me and J-Linzo rollin' in the Benzo

Greek Police are out of shape - like Romelu was - bring the physio tape, to tape off the scene of the corner - Martial can't score from them unlike Werner

I don't know if they ABUs or what... search a slab-head down and grabbin' his nuts

But on the other hand, without a pen we can't score none...

But don't let it be a Blue and Red one - cuz they'll slam you down to soft pitch - Greek Police showin' out for the Pep Cops

Slab-head will swaaaaaarm - on any Motherfecker in a blue uniform

Just cuz I play for the U-T-D...

Greek Police are afraid of me!

Huh, a young captain on a Holiday - and when I'm finished, Ed's gonna give a pay day - of bail money to the Greek P.D

Yo, de Gea I got somthin' to say!

Getting arrested in Mykonos means you are thick not tough.
I hope he doesn't choose to defend himself in court.

What a fecking moron! Getting into a fight on a night out is one thing, assaulting police is grounds for losing captaincy and in a different scenario, he could have got his ass whopped in return and suffered an injury or two in the process.
