Lamptey 100% will not be at Brighton next season - maybe even January if somebody comes up with the money. Such a great two-way right back. Very few defenders have frustrated ASM like he has in the first 20 minutes here, and he's already making a habit of that against some big wingers.

Very impressive; especially considering his attacking game is even better than his defensive. Blazing pace, amazingly press-resistant, endless stamina and desire to get up and down the flank and a wicked cross at the end of it all.

Ben White looking good too.

Yeah, I wonder if Ben White would be good for us. Big future.

Why wouldn't he want to stay at Brighton for another season? They managed to keep hold of Ben White, they have a great manager in Potter and they're an ambitious club that play lovely football.

Ben White and Lamptey won’t be at Brighton for long.

Newcastle look shocking.

Lamptey was good against Chelsea too. Looks like a top player in the making.

Pretty sure that Lamptey would be "shit" and not "United quality" according to a lot of people here if he played under Ole instead of Potter

He looks incredible. Shame that Trent will have the spot locked down for the majority of his career.
Trent can't seem to replicate club form for England though, unless that changes the doors very much open for all the other RB's.

Must be gutting to be a Newcastle fan with thoughts of the Saudi's buying the likes of Neymar then watching Ashley still in charge with that doofus Andy Carroll up front

Had both Trossard (goal and assist) and Lamptey (2assists) in my dream team since game week 1. Pretty chuffed hope they keep this form up.

They bought him
What a surprise! Another team find a bargain while we toss about all summer for one player we won’t get

Just makes my blood fecking boil watching all the teams do good business, scoring goals and turning out impressive performances while we looked relegation candidates

Why do I dislike that Almiron guy so much, apart from the fact he plays for Newcastle and is total garbage?

Would have played giroud. Even more so with fabinho at cb. Oh well. Werner needs to attack him.

Both Matip/Gomez being injured is a blow. Will likely happen many times this season also.

Have to buy a CB now Lovrens gone, fans think it’s ok Fabinho will slot in for cover, feck that I want him to see him in midfield. Gomez has been poor of late and Matip is best with VVD but is becoming our own Phil Jones with his injuries . Looking at that with no defenders on the bench is scary and if VVD gets injured we’ll have to play Henderson or Milner at CB.

3-0. Very impressive performance from Brighton.
