Why is the Smalling deal stalling? They want to buy, player wants to go and we want to sell. What’s so difficult at 15M euros?

We have made some really nice youth player acquisitions during this window which gives you hope for the future but you wonder if the current club strategy is "let's write the next 3 years off and be ready for 2024". Or perhaps if we are lucky Klopp will leave Liverpool within a couple of years.

It is a good deal but we need them on the pitch and which is why it is said many times we dont run like a football club. Bruno was the same we saved few millions but we lost games because he wasn't on the pitch helping us win.

Luckily Leicester and Chelsea played shit post COVID which helped us get 3rd but it won't always be the case.

Some delusional comments about our transfer process by the manager. We ideally would want 4 players imo. Left back, centre back, right winger and a striker. Centre back I’d wait if that meant signing Upamecano next summer. But the other 3 should’ve been planned and signed by now. We are so bad at selling players also which doesn’t help. I literally can’t see anymore players coming. Shambles.
