No - we instead get his pint sized neophyte, Phill Mattingly.
We've had Phil since 3Am. He is not aging well, but his reaction went Wisconsin first went blue with the Milwaukee vote dump around 4:30ish was priceless. Like a kid with a new toy.

Still haven't slept. Been watching for 15 straight hours now.
Fair play. I fell asleep at about 7am, but up again since 11ish. Glad I got that nap time, ready for more

I got a full night's sleep. Feeling very refreshed, especially with the way things look to be trending for Biden at the moment.
I also went sleep 6.30am UK time worried like crazy. Now feeling good, albeit will take any kind of win now. My brother in law is a hedge fund guy, he's crying like crazy. Entire industry hedged an early Biden win. Markets are screwed.

Kudos to you! How are you feeling, physically and emotionally?

I'll take the color commentary on this:

"Thanks Sparrow, the first young reporter you mentioned is Pamela Brown. Now Pamela did a fantastic job last night collecting and disseminating information. A real dynamo at the news desk. The second player you highlighted is Kate Baldwin. She is a versatile reporter who will pop up all over CNN to fill in for lead hosts. Really great talent on this CNN team. Back to you Raven "
"Thanks Murica Man. I have no doubt that they are highly intelligent, successful individuals who have more to them than just their physical appearances. On the other hand I also like to imagine them in a giant bathtub filled with jam. Back to you Rick Grimes."

We are all right sometimes and wrong sometimes.
Correct but shouldn't be calling polls you don't like as "bullshit".

I went from confident of Biden WI to Trump because of politico reporting incorrect numbers for total counted; their 94% when I made that call was actually 84%. Happens.

What’s the breakdown of remaining GA votes? Mail or could they count those straight away?
Impossible to know, unless the counties provide an update. Since there are only roughly 20% outstanding I think they will just crack on with it. Should know before 5/6 pm local time.

Haven't slept all night but surprisingly feel calm and peaceful at the moment. Things do seem to be falling into place, fingers crossed for GA!
Same! Feeling energized. Probably due to the whole carafe of coffee, but ready to keep going.

They are not completely bs as they do have complex algorithms being worked on by the brightest minds and all that, but their business is to make money, not provide people with accurate analysis and predictions. The way some people treated these bookmakers as if they had insider info was hilarious.
Posters on here were treating bookies as though they were clairvoyants who drank kool-aid! It was very annoying

@oates further update there's a rather attractive blonde lassie on CNN and they've now gone over to another rather attractive blonde lassie in PA. Will keep you posted if anything else is raised.
Thanks Pidgy, these updates are vital on keeping me updated on this vital election. They mean the world to me.

This post proves you know nothing about betting markets.
People are referring to the exchange, not a standard bookmaker. Huge difference.
Anyway wont pollute the thread...
Am very proud that I know nothing about betting!

I've enjoyed your posts all day/night but not really sure why you're so combative towards 538 and Silver.
Haha

I got annoyed by some of the posts on here from earlier in the week who were taking his forecasts as gospel. I recall explicitly saying FL and OH look good for Trump and there were some pretty combative posts against it.

All good.

Never been so interested in an election before. We are playing in the Champion's League tonight yet every time I log in to this site it is only to this forum.

There's another attractive blonde on now. Ffs there's not enough jam in the world for all of them.

Whoever wins, the other side will bitch, moan & cry conspiracy.

In other news, water is wet.

Biden looking very likely at this point. I can’t imagine Trump taking it well. Gonna be ugly.
Almost like a proportional voting system where it's not winner takes all is what all modern democracies should use eh? Who'd have thunk it? That way as long as QAnon mentalists aren't the majority you can't stoke the fear in everyone else.

A few hours ago, annoying posters we're warring with mods and kept bleating on about bookies stating a certain Trump win.

Proves bookies know as little as pollsters!
Someone posted that people were angry at the bookies because they were the only ones that were telling the truth about a Trump win being likely

That being said, I agree that pollsters are just as unreliable as betting.

I live in Atlanta. I know most of these ballots are all democratic. the problem is they will never make it in time or just get rejected. We need at least another day or 2 to get it all.

Given how Americans finally saw the light, maybe another Brexit ref could happen... Too soon?

"Kaitlin Collins is now on air, still standing outside the White House. I don't think she's moved. She keeps saying words but I'm not listening to her as I'm now having to rethink my 'jam filled bird bath' strategy."

i thought they are allowed 2 or 3 days?

Also why does it take so long to get postal votes into the centre?

People said the 2016 election show that America was divided, it seems 2020 is even more divided
Yeah, especially with the record turnouts. This is the best read we've had on American political priorities in a lifetime, and you can no longer suggest people just voted for Trump as a political wildcard. Political polarisation on an epic scale.

Nyt says only 16% of michigan counties have reported mail votes. Did anyone know if detroit etc have? And is it going to be a single dump or periodic updates from each county?

Markets have been pricing in a Biden win for a while now and just need confirmation that it will happen before the buyers come in imo. The prospect of a giant Biden COVID stimulus will be key in terms of how markets react.
