Why's he suddenly getting games now?

I saw a report that we were struggling to get a work permit, the cynic in me would say he's getting games now as he won't be moving next month after all

They’re on a very poor run of form and the last two games have been behind with ~20 mins to go. I think it’s more been a ‘let’s throw on a very talented player who could provide a moment of magic’ kind of situation. Whereas before they were playing well and saw no need to play him ahead of others.

Where did you see this report?

I think so too. Waste if he plays in the junior teams. He could be a good option for the first team as you say. Especially with League and FA Cup games coming up
I think we've paid a considerable sum of money for him and I believe the coaching staff will have him as part of the first team squad and I think he could really surprise alot of people if/when he's given a chance.

I think this kid is as talented as Ansu Fati. He just needs games and patience from the coaching staff which he'll get under the manager and McKenna who is well known for his work with youngsters.

I very much doubt that'll be an issue at all. Just scaremongering where you've seen that IMO

Really excited for him to join. Every time I see a clip it's like he has the ball on a string.

His decision making will develop (although I love the fact he looks for the pass instead of putting his head down) but that will come with time. Manage him properly and we might have a gem here.

ah fair enough I didn't think he was even making the bench though? The report was on one of BBC's newspaper round up pieces

Thing that struck me from all these recent cameos is his weight of pass. Some real delicate and precise stuff in there. Would love to see him get a go on the right.

The one thing I'm happy about is he's happy to use both feet and seems to do it well. He looks exciting especially some of his passing

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

Same. The dribbling and close control is what I largely expected from the reports on him. The vision and passing he showed in the highlights of this game is what really excites me and makes me think he might be ready much faster than I expected.

Because they were 1-0 down with 20 mins to go.

I really like the little bits I've seen of him so far. You can see he's technically gifted which is a great trait for such a young player.

Even if Diallo initially comes in as an option from the bench that could be good for us. Having a player like that pushing Greenwood could give him the impetus to get his season back on track too.

Really like the fact that he tried to ride the challenge or play a pass before going down, shows real tenacity. That being said, he still need to add the dark arts to his repertoire or your PL hatchet men will hack the shit out of him.

Would be great if we could get his work permit sorted in time to maybe make the bench against Watford in FA Cup

Is he cup tied and can't play in the CL when he moves to us? Just curious.

He just seems a dickhead too. give me Pogba / JLingz vibes.
Any player that dances like some idiot on crack after scoring should be given a swift kick up the arse by whoever is our Captain and be told to pull his head in.

it looks like finally we have a left footer which can be dribbling in opposite area.

Reading the new work permit criteria, it seems he'll get a work permit easily. Should be here by 1st January.

Was thinking the same, and he seems to make the right decision more often than not which is not the norm for such young players. It was also funny to see him frustrated when his teammates couldn`t find him!

Exactly. I still cringe every time I think of that dance against arsenal and that post "Dance Floor". Only Messi and Ronaldo can do that and they don't even do that too

I think everyone needs to calm down a little bit.

I’m not one to knee jerk, but I genuinely feel he is the best player in Europe right now.

Yep, that was the pinnacle of cringe.

Must say though, Peter Crouch’s dance used to be funny.

Who is better in South America or anywhere else?
