Nothing wrong with him today could have scored two goals, it only seems that way because of the ridiculously high standard he has set.

Thought he’d get booked today to get the suspension out of the way Wednesday
I wish he did. Would have been able to enjoy an aesthetic number 10 on Wednesday without feeling shite scared we’d miss his goals.

Nah his passing was poor today, but he is a dangerous player even when not playing well

In the posters defence he’s been poor for awhile now
He does need to bring more to the team other than flashes of brilliance
I have been bemoaning Bruno’s performances for a while now. I was shocked to see he won PotM again recently.

He has been very good overall, but his sloppiness in general needs to be addressed. He messes up some very simple moments.

His passing is often poor though, I don't think today was that much worse, it just didn't come with that defense-unlocking moment like it often has during other poor passing displays.

UTD! I am not fond of the Glazers.
He really cant stop making those silly over the top passes when we should be holding on to the ball. First period today, a nightmare. And missed a sitter. Thats it, a bad night for him. 3 bad games in a row. I hope its not going to become a habit.

His shooting has been a little off for a while now. It almost feels like there's no power behinds his shots when just a couple of months it felt like all his efforts were full of venom.

Yes! I’ve noticed this too, I actually remember thinking this watching some of his Sporting highlights.

I’m sure he will find his form again soon enough, probably bags a goal v Fulham.

His performance today was annoying. Gave the ball away numerous times, often in positions where one more simple pass would create an opportunity, his dribbling was pathetic, and to top it off he throws a tantrum at the end... He thinks he’s our only good player and he wants to do everything himself.

That was clearly a tactic they decided to employ against Liverpool’s high line and lack of first choice CBs. Didn‘t work though as either they were over hit or we were caught offside. It is a weakness though to be exploited so the intention was good, not the execution.

What you think about him just been given the job of stopping Thiago playing. Not sure if he’s instructed to do what he does. But Jose would have made him just stick with Thiago and relieve a lot of pressure off us.

Also we have to remember Bruno is only 26... closer in age to Tony than Pogba.. he will keep getting better and better

His passing ain’t going to improve. I reckon he’s got two more good years before he starts becoming a liability like RVN did. Hopefully Madrid will want him for big money.

Wastes too much possession it does however speak profoundly about the culture of the club's management ethos. I remember Keane saying in an interview that giving the ball away amongst the players alone was absolutely diabolical and criminal and that the players would be reminded of such a situation verbally (excluding the manager). I don't see anything in Solskjaer's approaches to initiate the players being more cautious over possession. It seems like an accepted formality in the need for players to express themselves.

Seriously? A couple of quiet games and he’s poor?

He just won last months player of the month FFS.

Even today, he had our best effort on goal. He’s invaluable.
Simmer down he’s clearly class but he’s been disappointing
Just because he had a chance from 5 yards doesn’t mean he played well for the other 90 minutes

He just seems to try too hard in the games, we don't have enough of the ball so when he gets it he is trying to make something happen instantly.

I think it is both a problem with Bruno but also us as a team, the more you get Bruno on the ball and players in advanced positions the more things will happen.

He was partly responsible for at least two half decent chances today but the rest of his game was OTT, instead of simple and calming things down.

I just wish Ole would grow a pair and take him off, I really think Liverpool were there to beat tonight, a more experienced striker in Cavani would of caused Fabinho and Henderson far more problems than Bruno going for glory with every pass to Rashford.

Honestly reading this thread we really don't deserve nice things at this club

Clearly needs to be dropped for the bigger games; play him to stat-pad against mediocrity, but someone with better football IQ - and the technical capacity to implement it - like VDB would be a better selection against decent opposition.

We've got some winnable games coming up in the league so he can turn on his flat-track bully streak on against them

2 years time we can review it. It’s not bizarre if you actually take in what I’m saying without thinking I’m being critical.
It is a bizarre take. Many players improve their passing later on in their career. Often times that improvement actually comes from composure and decision making. A lot of Bruno's bad passes are simply because he's rushing things.

I'd give him a rest from a game to give some much needed fresh legs. He looks a bit drained.

With the return of pogba this is the best chance

and look at the wonders it did for pogba when he was taken out the team, different man now

Maybe people will finally stop pretending that he can pass a ball. I said from time ago his assist numbers are highly deceptive and dont represent his true ability. A very basic footballer

Give me an example. I’ve seen players lay off the gas and play deeper. But Scholes, Modric, Kroos and Thiago’s passing (Just examples that I’ve witnessed) could pass at 25.

He does rush a lot but he’s selection of passes from deep.. I don’t actually think he has the intelligence for it.

I criticise him playing the 10 but actually think we brought him to play that position knowing he wasn’t good enough to play the 8 in England. Our leaked scouting report did say he gives the ball away to much. Maybe I’ll give Ole credit for once.

Nothing wrong,he had a terrible game. Hes our main man but let's call it as it is when he plays poorly as he has in recent games.

Think it’s time to give him a rest. Clearly a bit off colour today.

I completely disagree with this, he’s been such a spark for a team going nowhere
A very basic footballer would be Periera or James

so a player can have very good stats but still be poor? Maybe other players with stats less impressive can actually be performing better, but i can’t get myself to agree with what you’re saying about stats not reflecting a full month’s performance.

we’ll agree to disagree i guess:confused:
Ok well look at the stats this way....

One goal was a penalty

One assist was a square pass to Pogba 30 yards out.

One assist was a great pass to Rashford, but seriously you aren’t expecting an assist from it. It didn’t even create a chance.

One assist he just managed to toe the ball away from the defender after a poor pass to him....it just happened to fall to Rashford.

On top of that his general performance wasn’t great throughout the month.

Top 4 will always be guaranteed with a player like bruno but if he doesn't tweak his game to be less gung ho we will never win the title.

What the hell were those passes? I refuse to believe he watches replays and thinks there is nothing wrong with his style of play. Worst player on the pitch today by a mile.

I think in big games he has to keep it simple sometimes. All these blind passes puts extra pressure on us.

Despite being critical I agree....he’s a wonderful player. Like every player he has spells of poor form but some of the posts are way ott. He has been great for us overall. Not every week like some suggest but generally. It’d take a MASSIVE bid from anyone to make us sell him. He is THAT good.

Wish we had basic wingers of similar ability right now aswell, perhaps a basic striker to go with them long term will be needed at some point too.
