Moura on for Bale. He looks like an ex-pro who has turned up for a Soccer Aid match, in fact the lads who play in those games show more enthusiasm.

Brighton wasting so many counters this half, that's why they're bottom 6. Suspect they need a second here.

Bale subbed.

Bale is a scumbag. An absolute waster with zero interest in football.

He could not wait to leave the pitch there and was almost off the pitch before the sub board went up. One of the most dislikable footballers of this generation. A sewer rat who is only interested in a wage slip. He’s somewhat similar to that annoying fluffy shit that sticks to your feet when you wear new socks. The sooner he retires and does football a favour, the better.

Say what you want about Jose but at least he’s proactive. One sub on half time, another on the hour. As well as a change of shape. Ole would still be waiting until 80 minutes for Martial to suddenly give a shit.

Brighton’s profligacy is going to derail their season. The fact they create so much shows they won’t go down, but they can’t keep missing chances. Their game at Anfield in midweek will be an exhibition of the usual away side misses a dozen chances before Pool take over and score 4.

Come on Brighton score more goals, I wan't other top half teams to get closer to our 27 goals conceded. Bit obsessed with it. 9th worst team in the league. Makes me sad.

I get the feeling you’re not his biggest fan

McAllister has been pretty good today also gotten around the pitch well, nice passes and shows good desire.

Based on the effort tonight I can only assume that Jose has lost the players. If that's the case he is going to be out of a job soon.
Looks like. Brighton is always with acres of space but somehow only 1-0. Jose looks furious.

xG have them a lot higher than they are.
xG says nothing about where a team should be in the table, watch the game with your eyes and stop being a nerd.

xG does not catch game momentum. You could be losing 3-0 and then produce five huge chances when the other team strolls and sub their best players, and end up with an even xG. A good team (United) that scores early from a fluke can defend a lead pretty comfortably and end up with an xG at 0.2 vs. 1.5, and it says nothing about the game or strength between the teams. If the other team (Newcastle) equalize after 30 minutes, the first team can/will up their game to score another - but this does not show in xG. Football is about scoring more goals than the other team, you do not get more points for scoring more goals if the other doesn’t score. A high xG but losing early on and losing the game, says nothing about the game if the scoring team is cruising.

Say what you want but we don't look this clueless under Ole. I am so glad Jose is not our manager
