Looking at this Spain team, I mean they aren't anywhere close to that 2008/2012, no quality striker and the midfield is nothing like the Xavi/X.Alonso/Ineista trio

Lewa pulling his weight. Happy for him once again.

This could be a cracker of a game for the last 30 minutes.

Finland and Slovakia all but out now.

Want Poland to equalize so that Spain is on the other half of the draw though. Otherwise too stacked on one side and the other half is an easy route for either England or whoever finishes 2nd later.

I mean is Lewa is world class and all, but damn Lindelof didn't even try to get close to him and force him on his left foot, he just stood off him!!!

Lindelof is getting exposed by a 'real' striker.. fantastic strike though.

Shame this co-commentator sounds like a worse version of Glenn Hoddle because she picks up on things a lot of them don’t. Would rather listen to someone with a voice made for radio though.

Not really. Spain still look pretty shite. Before today, they'd only scored one goal. Helps to have the opposition keeper palm it into his own net.
Bad finishing yes but they created a lot of chances.

Spain are scoring some fantastic goals today. All of them have been a joy to watch.

Morata chance count (3 currently) odds

Half time
Over 4.5: 1.15
Under 4.5: 7.00

Full time:
Over 8.5: 1.40
Under 8.5: 4.50
Final result: 3

Despair for the 'over' backers as Morata's greedy teammates robbed him of opportunities to miss more chances.

So as things stand Germany/Portugal would have to lose by 4 goals to not qualify?
Given that Germany don't lose Portugal would have to lose by 4, yes. If Germany lose, then any loss would mean that Portugal are out. Germany are only out if they lose and Portugal get at least one point or if they lose to Hungary by at least five goals.
