Quality meltdown from Wales, with some petulant behaviour late doors.
Lovely.

Great "rousing" speech in the circle from Bale afterwards.

It’s comical.
A different ref wouldn’t have made a difference, Denmark were much the better side all overall.

Having said that your take that it was a red card, is really weird. You can say Denmark fully deserved their win but it wasn’t a red

Superb performance by Denmark, that little tactical tweak, moving Cristensen to DM and marking Ramsey allowed them to control the game and isolate Moore. i didn't expect the scoreline.

Wilson didn't deserve to be sent off, and their 2nd goal was questionable as i think Moore was fouled by Kjaer in leading up to the 2nd goal.

At 1-0 Wales are always in with a chance regardless of how bad we are playing.

The decision to not clearly overturn the 2nd goal ended the game and from there Wales lost their heads. So it is understandable that we are frustrated at the refereeing as his incorrect decision (and piss poor defending) led to a goal that ended the game.
I can't agree the goal should have been overturned as it wasn't the same phase of play.

Nico Williams had every chance to clear it.

Wales destroyed 4-0 and never in the game after the first 10 mins and people complaining about the ref? Give over
I didn't see any major ref blunders. Or blunders at all. 2nd goal was 50/50.

Wales lost because they were lacking quality in there defense. While their offense can be good, today was not that day. All in all, Denmark destoryed Wales both in scoreline but also in every aspect of the game.

To be fair, Wales have arguably had the hardest tournament.

Having to travel 3,000 miles to Baku. Very few fans

Travelling to Rome. Facing Italy at home. Very few fans

Going to Amsterdam. No fans allowed.

A much more tiring tournament thus far.

Well I've not seen a reply of the 4th goal or lines put on but his foot did look to be playing him onside, I could be wrong though.
Wales didn't play well at all, Denmark played very well and deserved to win,
Oh i think the second goal should of been a foul to Wales.

Numerically in with a chance maybe but they weren't in the game at all.

Why isn't VAR able to reverse a silly error? Makes no sense
That's the whole point though. It. Is. Not. An. Error. An error would be the ref not seeing a situation completely and thus being unable to make a proper judgement or making a judgement that is contradictory to the rules. The ref making a questionable decision is not the same as an error.

You do know the lines are drawn manually? It isn't some amazing technology that automatically determines offside. I could do that on my computer.

It isn't a great method, to be honest.

That's my main gripe with this tournament. Some teams benefit way too much from scheduling and location

It's crazy that some are hating the sympathy that the Danish team received because of what happened to Eriksen.
To be honest, I think it is time to drop this. How many people in the world have had cardiac arrests in the world and died since that happened?

Eriksen survived. It was bad at the time, but the result was as good as you can get.

I like how the English in here are lapping up wales out and were mocking Scotland going out too, two minnow nations playing above where they should be and then the crying that goes on when someone goes in the England thread and calls them arrogant.

We also have to bear in mind the effect of perspective distortion due to the camera angle which means we can't actually tell if someone is or isn't inside with our eyes.

No, it is just football fans mocking the shite that was Scotland and Wales.

Don't understand why you're crying about a FK for the second goal. Kieffer Moore is a dirty player who did his cheap tricks all game. He was clearly backing into Kjær looking for a FK, like he did all game. Glad the refs didn't fall for it.

Weak performance from a petulant, limited Wales side. Magnificent from Denmark. So excited to see how far we'll go.

Trust me, I'll laugh when we'll go out too.

Drop what exactly ? This is fecking insane  Feeling sympathy for them doesn't mean you cannot feel the same or more for anyone in the world who goes through horrible ordeals.

Oh yeah the disparity of traveling schedules between teams was straight bullshit.

Denmark are a great side. I love watching them play. It's criminal that Christensen isn't first choice at Chelsea.

I'm glad I won't need to watch any more of this Wales side and I'm even more glad that I won't need to listen to Robbie Savage again.

Don't understand how anyone can complain about the red card. He didn't even attempt to go for the ball and was ridiculously late. That he didn't make any serious contact is irrelevant. He tried to and got what he deserved.

It's all banter, England will get it if they lose to the Germans.

Even the Irish who didn't qualify will be giving it

They didn't show a replay with the lines. Would be interested to see it as it looked very tight.

I'm getting a brain error right now. The rule says that the ref is allowed to give a red card for violent conduct. What is and is not violent conduct is up for the ref to decide. You disagreeing with that decision does not make it an error.

Covid has obviously exasperated it, especially lack of travelling fans. Then you England getting a more favourable location due to Covid, For example England were originally due to play the round of 16 away from Wembley.

but, yes, it’s a farce. Platini’s dream.

hopefully it’s the last we ever see of this format, and it reverts to one or two home nations.
